Oi, i thought you weren't posting anymore... Whats going on? Personally, i think that there are far better fighters in boxing right now. Still, a lot of the top guys are on the way out, and boxing as a whole is fairly weak at this point IMO. I do think that Calzaghe and Kessler would both thoroughly dominate Pav though...

I guess one of my purposes at ESB is to routinely **** on Pavlik, it's like it's become a 2nd nature.:think

It sadly stems down from my totally unhealthy hatred of Jermain Taylor.

I think Pavlik squeezes in at about 9 or 10 in the Pound4Pound lists.

Pavlik is a Top 5 P4P. He had a incrediable year... And beating JT 2 times is no easy task. I think the reason he falls short on most people rankings cause he lacks the flashy boxing skills where it looks like he simply outclasses his oppents and lacks the invinciblity kind of like an old roy jones or mayweather. But when you think about it. The kids got great skill takes the big fights and fights to his gameplan.. For right now there isnt a middleweight that comes close. He can take that division for the next 3 years easly. To become great he needs to fight calzhage pending he wins. This is a great oppertunity to cemeant him as an all time great. And they both throw a **** ton of punches a war of attrition and it would be a great fight.

No matter how much you hate, Pavilk will still do his thing(put a B level ass whooping on his opponents). Everybody wants a piece and hopefully they'll get some. He is a real fighter and that puts him in my P4P list.:!:

Jermaine Taylor was top 5 pound for pound for some of his reign and he STRUGGLED with 154 lbers until getting starched by Pavlik who regardless of your take on his fight with Zertuche - He stopped the guy - and 8 others around him in a row leading up to the 2nd Taylor fight where he not only stopped Taylor after getting off the canvas himself - He managed th adjust to a vastly improved Taylor in the second fight and tough out a victory.

What else do you want from your fighters?

I find it very hard to put Pavlik in a decent p4p spot when I know there are so many fighters out there who are just plain better.

The man has certainly walked to walk of late, but over who really when you look at it?
