P-Williams has to much skills for pavlick. I see the almost like the Hopkins fight with Pavlik. P-Will is the good.

I just don't see how PTP can win this fight; I really don't... He will have like 0 advantages coming in... His whole career is based on being the bigger guy, but that won't quite apply here. Despite the one dude's post, KP is no Winky Wright (in all the right ways for this fight)...

Williams can be hit and when he does he will feel it. If Pavlik is anywhere near his old self he will knock Williams out.

I find the Williams/Hopkins comparisons down right ludicrous. They actually make me wonder if the guys who make them have ever seen either man fight. Williams is nothing like Old Man River.

Futhermore, even if Williams could emulate Hopkins, it would not work against Pavlik. It's foolish to act like all Hopkins did was use lateral movement. One of BHop's best weapons in that fight was strategic clinching. Hopkins is a LHW who is an absolute master at clinching. If Williams tries that, he'll get mauled and manhandled. Sorry guys, but Kelly Pavlik does not like to fight on the insde, and he does not like to be clinched. He'll hit his opponent with forearms, shouders, beat on their hips, rabbit punch, and generally do whatever it takes to let you know there is a price to pay for it. I'm not saying I approve of those tactics. I'm just saying it's what Kelly does, and PW can't handle it.

Guys who hit a lot harder than PW got zero respect from Kelly. Guys who are just as fast as PW got zero respect. Hops had the right combination of power and hand speed to force Kelly to show him massive respect. Paul Williams does not.

Comparing Paul to Bernard makes about as much sense as comparing KP to Quintana!

If Pavlik lands one punch, it will be over.

I cant wait for this fight, the winner will get the respect he has not been getting in the past and the loser's fans will be put into perspective.

    50/50 fight

If it goes the distance Williams by decision if not Pavlik by KO

I think this fight will look like the Taylor-Froch again, only the KO wont come in the last seconds of the fight.

I hope it is a quick KO for Pavlik. i am a Ohio State fan and i don't think my nerves can handle another last second heartbreaking loss.

P-Wills defense is his offense. I think Pavlik can walk through that ****.

    ffs...elaborate noob.

i like paul williams...but tell us what about paul williams' game resembles hopkins'. hopkins does not use punch output, williams does. hopkins is a defensive wizard, williams isnt. williams will stand and trade, hopkins picks his spots. hopkins was 180+ lbs...williams..yeah you get the point.

i'm not writing off williams at all, in fact, while i think the old pav will walk through him, i'm nervous as hell about it. but don't go comparing the guy to hopkins. they are nothing alike

What will be interesting is if Pavilik can take paul's punches if he can then he may be able to get inside and do some damage.

My money is on Williams on points, but I do feel Pavilk has the chance to KO williams if he gets a lucky shot on him.

If i recall Hopkins didn't clinch alot in the Pavlik fight. Hopkins let go of his punches way more then he did in the Wright, Calzaghe fights.
