I'm with ya' brother, I would love to know too. It seems all the undercard for MSG half of the deal has been set, but nothing in Y-Town that I know of. I'd read that there will be six fights. That's all I can say.

Wouldn't mind seeing Ray Austin, Ronald Johnson, the Bey brothers or Will Nelson (Cleveland fighters); Chris Koval from Y-Town would be cool too.

Nothing in the local rag about it at all.

    Hello, Hermit:good

From what I could understand there were either going to be six fights total or six under bouts with Pav in the main? But I have not been able to find NOTHING about whom these fighters may be.

I don't know for certain, but I suspect they'll just run a closed-circuit live feed of the MSG card into the arena.

I don't think that would fly well. Originally the plan was only for the Cotto fight, but if Clotty/Cintron is signed, I think that would be shown also. Could be one reason the cards haven't been announced?

I wouldn't mind seeing Cotto, and Cintron/Clottey, but I hope they have at least 4-5 live bouts. I'd hate to see it turn into just a simulcast from NYC.

I'm pretty sure the last article in the Vindy said it was only the Cotto fight being simulcast. Sounds like you plan on being there?

    Quick edit:

The broadcast will feature both the Pavlik bout and Miguel Cotto’s WBO welterweight title fight with Michael Jennings, which will be broadcast from Madison Square Garden around 10:15 p.m. Pavlik’s bout is expected to start around 11 p.m. There will also be six undercard bouts in Youngstown, with the arena going dark to show the Cotto bout on the Chevy Centre screens. The pre-fight press conference and the Friday weigh-in will also be at the arena.

So, 6 on the undercard, Pavlik and Cotto. 8 total bouts planned at this point.

Yeah. Had to pay a pound of flesh to a ticket broker, but I couldn't pass it up; how often are championship fights held in the area?

I'll be meeting up with Pipe earlier in the day after he drives in. As fight day draws closer, we may try and organize a little bit. Get a few of the ESB folks together for dinner before heading down.
