Pavlik said he is enforcing his rematch clause, is this wise?

If he can come up with a better trainer, I think he can avenge it. Or there is a good chance that it will be closer.

This is not a Lacy-Calzaghe rout which had no need for a rematch.

 

Pavlik looked bad, then looked good, then quit fighting and looked horrible.

 

pavlick was only in the fight in the middle round the rest were clear martinez rounds

i see the same result he was just to slow and didnt put punches together at all , now can he change his style and still be copetitive between now and a rematch i doubt it

 

If he can make the weight Pavlik should try to get a rematch. I had Martinez winning 8-4 but it was a competitive fight and Pavlik really struggled after the cuts. Martinez will be the favorite in a rematch but Pavlik, with a few adjustments, could beat Martinez. Hard to say if he takes the rematch or moves to 168.

If Pavlik loses again I won't blame him fighting the Lockett's and Rubio's in the world to regain his swagger.
