"It looks like the Ghost’s latest fight is a go."

“It’s a done deal as far as I’m concerned,” said Pavlik’s trainer, Jack Loew. “We’re preparing to fight.”"

"Pavlik would still like to fight Felix Sturm of Germany for the WBA middleweight belt and may be willing to travel there to do so, but there are few other interesting options at that weight. "

"If he and Bute both win, that could be a future matchup, with Pavlik looking to position himself to eventually fight the winner of Showtime’s Super Six super middleweight tournament."

Yes, what a filthy ducking **** Pavik is, cherry-picking all the easy options. :patsch

Lets hope he sorts out his problems and gets a good run of fights, his resume since winning the title is abysmal

Are we playing 'spot the odd-one-out'? Because, traditionally, that's supposed to be at least a little bit tricky.

Seriously, this a good fight. It's good to see that it's nearly complete.

Your boy's best win was over a shot-to-**** and bloated up version of the "over-rated" Pavlik's left-overs. :deal

Contrary to popular belief, I don't actually hate Pavlik. People like booradley and Hermit don't make it any easier to support him, but I don't hate him. I genuinely do want to see the guy continue to stay healthy and get in the ring with the best fighters. He's wasted a couple of years of his prime - through no fault of his own - so I'm glad to see they are talking about fighting Martinez, Sturm, Bute etc. Though I don't think he can beat Bute, I'd pick him to break the other two down and win via stoppage rounds 8-11.

welll atleast he took the challenge by going up a weight, to fight in the super 6, whilst pavlik just been fighting bums the last 2 years,

man i like pavlik, i think his time is comin and his next few fights should be exciting, but people starting suckin his dick after he beat J.Taylor, people make out his already is a legend in the game, everyone forgets he got his ass whooped by bhop,

Well, Pavlik's bums were rated bums, and mandatory bums that he HAD to fight. Abraham CHOSE virtual club fighters like Mahir Oral and Lujuan Simon.

so don't write him off too early either then.
pavlik has had some serious bad luck outside the ring in the last couple of years which has restricted the number of fights he's been able to have.

pavlik deserves "having his dick sucked" after beating taylor since taylor beat 'the man' twice before pavlik beat taylor twice so, in my opinion, that earns both taylor and pavlik a certain degree of respect.

He sure did and he did it by going up 2 weight classes while being sick. Would the outcome been any different if he wasnt ill, probably not, but it didnt help.

Now, at 160, his weight, he is undefeated.

Even I wouldn't pick him over Bute at this point. Bute has looked damned impressive of late. I'd want Kelly to take at least one other fight before Bute at that weight to see what he looks like.
