Pavlik Should Dump Top Rank Immediately

I would like to see Pavlik fight again, but I won't hold my breath. Arum gradutated from Harvard Law School. Yes, he was a lawyer, so..............

 

I doubt Pavlik would avoid anyone .... fairly sure he wants to fight AA.
I do believe Arum is ducking the fight with AA though, Arthur did everything to setup the fight and is willing to go to the US to get it done.

100% agreed...Pav himself is not the type of fighter who avoids challenges (or potentially difficult and dangerous fights). What's sad is that Team Pavlik works together with such a sob (Arum). For Arum Pavlik is only a cashcow.

Maybe he should dump them, maybe not, but even fighting under Arum, Pavlik and his management can say no to any fight. Nobody forced them to sign the contract. DLH, Cotto, Margarito and PacMan were all able to put pressure on Mob Arum and it worked. I believe there's a mutual agreement between Arum and the Pavliks/Loew regarding the 'financial difficulties' of the Abraham fight. In other other words, other than the lack of communication regarding this medical situation, I think both Team Pavlik and Top Rank are happy and pleased that the Abraham fight is pushed back yet again, maybe for good this time.

 

I suppose I'll be thankful for small favors.

Arum is just afraid of losing his money Cow that is known as the Ghost. He's just trying to avoid the Abraham fight. Yeah, he should dump Top Rank alright! The same Top Rank that are trying to avoid potentially the biggest fight in Boxing in the last twenty years..... Pacquiao vs Mayweather!
Anyone who don't think a 50/50 split is fair if Mayweather beats Marquez are MAD! or Bob Arum.

question 2 have you seen that kid from ytown jake gutierres i think thats his last name i went to a show in johnstown pa a few weeks back their was quite a following a whole bus load from youngstown came to see him in his 2 fight. me personally didnt think he was all that i thought he had some good boxing skills but had the power of a lil girl. what do you think of him. also a friend of mine said he was fighting in youngstown june 27 u hear of that card.

I really don't know, but Arum knows his ****. Pavlik signed a one year deal, so this could be interesting. Arum is hot right now because of Pac. It is obvious from the way Kelly talks that Arum is 'schooling' him in the business aspects. Though we as fans may not like to hear it, that is part of the game. Fan wise, it may be best he not talk business though.

I think I've heard of him, maybe, not 100% sure. That's why I'm working on that project I told you about though. A couple of forum members have an event cooking, but I thought it was end of May.
