WBC mandated he fight some one in the top 15 after his second pull out of the P-dub fight.

Yes -- Espino was a mandatory. Pavlik's hand problems were clearly documented, but the WBC still threatened to strip Pavlik if he did not fight before the end of 2009. Espino was ranked #3 by the WBC.

That's irrelevant anyway. Pavlik having lost narrowly to Martinez due to a cut is now picking an easy opponent instead of taking a rematch and instead of going to 168 like he said he would be better suited.

What's he gonna do after the tomato can? Fight another tomato can like Haye? Fight oldies? We know he won't go up and history tells us he won't take dangerous fights (williams) so he won't fight Martinez.

So what exactly is he gonna do?

WHO at 160 is he gonna fight? Sturm? ROFL.

It's not blah-blah. You started this thread with blah-blah. You act like you know more about handling Pavlik's career than Top Rank and Cameron Dunkin combined, and that is extremely arrogant.

TR and Dunkin put a lot of pressure on Pavlik to try and stay at 160. KP is leaning more toward moving up, but he agreed to take a relatively safe fight at 164, and then assess the situation afterward. That is the beginning and the end of the story. It is all clearly documented. If you were less arrogant, you would replace your opinions with the facts, and this thread would not even be necessary.

How many "Champions" have a re-match clause put into their contracts, & then after losing, say...thanks but no thanks, I'd rather fight a bum on an undercard right around the same time that the guy who beat me is fighting.

Kind of like when he cancelled the fight with Williams, & then fought a bum 2 weeks later.

Pavlik is the perfect example of somebody who keeps doing the same **** over & over again, but expects different results.
