Perhaps if you read the news, and educated yourself, instead of posting random, uninformed, opinions, you would know that there is no "magic formula." You'd know that Team Pavlik has a 5 month plan that includes a sports nutritionist, a world class conditioning coach, and major changes in the training regimen. That hardly qualifies as "magical."

    Way to misinterpret my post.

You, along with the other Pavlik nuthugger have said in so many words that he is simply too big to be competitive at 160 anymore. Your words not mine. Hence my "magical" comment. It was you who insinuated that his time was up at 160 and it was impossible to be competitive at that weight any longer hence my "magical" comment.

Now you are going back on your word, just like your edited response to the Martinez defeat, and saying he can do it because it suits your agenda.

You can't have your cake and eat it. Either admit he can fight at 160 and was beaten by a better fighter in Martinez or say he can't fight at 160. You'll jump through hoops to prevent criticising your boxer. Frankly, it's a bit pathetic.

Once again, if you informed yourself by keeping up with the news, you could be a better poster. Evey boxing journalist in the entire world spoke of Pavlik's stuggles to make weight for the Martinez fight. Lampley and Kellerman reported it before the fight even started. I was no more wrong about it than the entire boxing world.

The entire boxing world, including every member of Team Pavlik, also talked about Pavlik's intentions to move up to 168 or 175. Again, I was no more incorrect than the entire boxing world.

Now there's a new plan. A plan that may allow Pavlik to try to do something no one has done since Benvenuti did it in 1968. Criticising Pavlik because he wants to do something that has not been done in over 4 decades is inapropriate.

the whole idea that kelly "has" to move up is ****ing stupid. yeah i was under the impression that he needed too. and i can't lie, i would love to see him at a comfortable weight which i assumed was 168+ and fighting the likes of bika and steiglitz on his way to a title shot at smw. (yeah steiglitz has one but come on now.) but if he can make mw and be strong and healthy then what's the ****ing problem?

if he can make mw and be like he was zertuche, miranda and taylor like...then guess what...he is a mw.

when he can't do that...then guess what...he is not a mw. its that simple.

its laughable that people complain that he just "boils" down to mw so he can "use his advantages." well got dammit if he can "boil" down and still be world class then he is a mw. if paul williams can "boil" down to ww and still be world class then he is a ww. bernard hopkins was "boiling" down to make mw towards the end of his reign according to mackie shilstone (who would know more than anyone on this board about the subject) but he did it and was world class and was still a mw.

so what is the problem? the day he can't do it he won't do it. if his nutritionist says no then it won't happen. but if it can happen then what is everyone's problem? getting shitty b/c pav won't move up when he doesnt have to...its ****ing silly. :deal

Did you know that Haynes is completely insane now? I'm not joking. He isn't locked up in the booby hatch, but he probably ought to be!

1st I thought he couldnt make the weight

2nd why not fight stieglitz pav held the wbo 160 belt for a while he is bound to be ranked and is a bigger draw stieglitz is tailor made for him the wbo would probably rate him high at 168 and hed get the fight and the easiest belt he can get at the moment 175 is too big bute is too good and the other belts are in the super 6

Herm, Herm, you are too short on ideas my friend. Think about the marketing potential: "which loser will get back on track and which will end up there", or "Top Rank presents: Losers' Night" or simply just "The L Word". Wait, you do know Kelly belongs in the group that you categorize as "the losers", don't you?

Well, it looks like what I stated in the "Pavlik does FNF" thread is true. He hasn't lost all his earning power yet and Arum has to be throwing a ton of money at him for him to even consider staying at 160, especially if he knows Arum and Roach think he is shot and is supposed to be the proverbial 'opponent' for jr.

Abraham/Froch Disgraced vs Sore Loser........ "Who the **** Cares". Fans world wide pray for the rare DOUBLE KNOCKOUT!

Just trying to regain my marketing form here.
