    Never thought I would see this fight.

    "Pavlik said he is eager to get back in the ring and said his managers are closing in on a possible Oct. 3 fight against WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm in either Atlantic City or Las Vegas. Sergio Mora is also a possible opponent. Pavlik was scheduled to fight Mora later this month before the fight was postponed, reportedly due to a lingering hand injury from the Rubio bout."

    He said he wanted the winner of Pavlik/Abraham, which he thinks would be Pavlik.

    Dude why is PAvlik keep wasting time with these mediocre guys?? Is he still not over what happened in the hopkins fight? It's time to move on and face someone worthy.. **** sturm and **** Mora. He better face Abraham soon.

    Arum needs a backup plan if for no other reason than to help negotiate.

    Sturm has been fighting better competition than Abraham of late. I said a long time ago, you take Sturm when/if you can get him.

    I really DO get the feeling that Mora IS the back up plan and not just a negotiation ploy. Like Arum will go the table and say "Hey take the deal" and then before Sturm can respond he goes "Too late!" and yanks the contract off the table. Then he runs and gives it to Mora and laughs at the crying Pavlik fans.

    Sturm is going to agree to get his ass handed to him on PPV for all the world to see? Again, I just can't see this happening .

    Sturm and Mora aren't even in the same hemisphere in credibility. Hardly interchangeable options. But whatever. At least Pavlik's not fighting, say, Verno Phillips.
