To be honest that is better than what Abraham and Pavlik have done in the same time ;)

Sturm would be 1000x times better than Mora.

But I don't really get it. Abraham will be ready for October. What's this Sturm nonsense then? Don't tell me Abraham has to go to the US again for fame, but Sturm is so well known off the DLH loss years back that he shouldn't. Catic doesn't bring the same kind of excitement and costs just as much if not more. Well, not as dangerous, lol. Sauerland most likely could postpone the mandatory fight, who cares about mandatory anyway, the King would move up immediately, Lorenzo could fight Pavlik for the vacant IBF belt... so forget about Mora or the very credible Sturm (which could be a so tough fight for Kelly I see Arum making another tune-up before even thinking Abraham.)

Bring on the fight we want, Abraham will be absolutely ready to rock Pavlik's world in October! (I mean to get KTFO if you're reading this Mr. Arum).

Nah! It isnt an excellent post, landshark!:nono

Sturm will have a death and life struggle with his Armenian stable mate.Gevor will be on the attack for 12 long rounds. Sturm wont have time to take a breather.Styles make fights.Gevor certainly has the right style to be competive with and victorious over Sturm.
Admittingly,Gevor is no big puncher, but he will make the water extremely hot for Sturm who strongly dislikes to go to war in a fight.Gevor will drag him into the trenches playing it rough and dirty trying to draw Sturm into deep waters.
I for my part think that he has a good chance to beat Sturm.

You might want to change that phrase "no big puncher" until you have seen him again with Sturm. ;)

I sure hope this fight comes off. I think Pavlik knocks out Sturm late. In round 10 or 11.

Hot off the press means the fight is made....this fight is a long way off.....Sturm wont leave home....he gets circa 1.5 million euro taking average fights....whats he going to get VS Pavlik....more than US4M?

Not worth the risk.....better fights for Sturm like Mundine

Yes...Pav is the best fight for the public...Mundine is the best fight for Sturm....but Mundine wont fight him....Mundine will look for vacant or regular titles.

Very true. Can't see it happening.... I'd rather see Mathew Macklin fight Strum anyway. I think Macklin would beat him down. Meanwhile Pavlik and Abrahem can get it on...... if it ain't too much to ask!

Abraham has a mandatory in September, and Sauerland/Abraham already said they would be fine with a January date for Pav/AA. Nothing wrong with that. January 2008 was the soonest KP/AA could have happened, and lots of other fights have taken a year or more longer to make than they should have.

Remember when Pavlik/Mora was post poned I made a thread saying I thought something was "fishy" about the whole thing? Kelly's contract with Top Rank was about to expire. Every member of Team Pavlik bitched about Mora. Then for awhile there was no news on the Pavlik/Top Rank situation. Suddenly the Mora fight got "post poned" under suspicious circumstances, and the next freaking day the news of Pavlik signing a new deal with Top Rank broke. Kelly stood his ground with Top Rank and made it clear who he will and will not fight. It really looks like KP insisted on more control over his own schedule.

Sturm in October, Abraham in January: It only makes sense to fight Sturm first. If Pavlik beat Abraham, Sturm would NEVER fight him. This way AA gets the winner of Pavlik/Sturm. I just hope all this actually happens. Keep your fingers crossed.
