I thought it was blindingly obvious, but then I never went in for the overrating of Taylor merely because had the perfect style to grind past Hopkins.

 

I picked him to knock JT out in 8 rounds

 

I picked Pavlik to stop Taylor in 7 rounds.

 

I saw it as 50/50.

 

I put a little v-cash on Pavlik but I felt about 55% Pav, 45% Taylor. Thought he would either KO Taylor or lose a decision. Thought Pav. had about a 70% chance for the KO in fight #2. I like/respect Taylor much more than I did before these fights. Hope he does well.

I picked Pavlik to win due to the fact that Pavlik can punch was taller and physically bigger than Taylor, and Taylor was taking it easy fighting smaller guys and was not beating them in convincing fashion.

 

Pavlik was coming off a great showing against Miranda who was considered to be a power punching bull. Pavlik walked right over him. I think on that performance a lot of us were picking him to beat Taylor.

I thought it was 50/50 because Taylor had something to prove. But I feel Taylor earned more fans in defeat. Then the way he fought in the second fight earned more fans. Maybe Steward messed him up
