ouch. I thought it would do better than that with the good undercard it had. But then again not too many follow the bantams and feathers......

This is from an article that I recently read.

Kelly’s next fight is tentatively scheduled for June 7th at Madison Square Garden versus TBA. Lucrative potential match-ups against Arthur Abraham, Felix Trinidad, and the winner of Bernard Hopkins versus Joe Calzaghe lie ahead. It’s also possible that Bob Arum will broker Pavlik’s way onto broadcast television in an effort to increase his marketability. The on-site attendance (9,706) and pay-per-view numbers (roughly 225,000 buys) for Pavlik-Taylor II were disappointing. But Kelly will become more marketable as time goes by.

I doubt Bob Arum would let those numbers be released if true. I dont see them truly being that low. Usually boxing sites will have the number if released and none that Ive seen have it.

That would be pretty disappointing if it were only 225k. I was going to guess right around 250k a few months ago but I thought the good undercard would boost the #s

Damn I hope not THAT low. The first fight was an action packed on, really doubt it would be this low. Not calling you a liar or nothing but it's just TOO diffuclt to believe.
