Taylor is a real credit to his sport, pure class, Pavlik too. Both guys deserve nothing but respect for their performances and their attitudes.
Now my previous assumption of Pavlik having an off nite..is proven correct.."I just felt stiff in there, wasn't myself" Jermain will do very well at SMW...he's a great sportsman and future champion at 168
I feel bad for Jermain, cause for me he won the fight. Obviously a lot of people disagree, but I was honestly shocked at the decision, especially as it was fairly wide. He definitely lost the last two but I felt he'd done enough in the previous 10 to make up for any shortcomings. He is a better boxer than he is given credit for and a true warrior.
i was ever much of a taylor fan but after seeing his class and poise leading up t and following this fight i now am
personally i could never be that big of a Taylor fan because he relies too much on athleticism and also gasses out in the championship rounds, 2 things i don't like about fighters.
Indeed. I wasn't exactly a huge fan of Taylor, though I always thought he was a solid, skilled fighter, but he definitely made me a fan last night. I have gained a large amount of respect for the fella recently.
