I agree with you WWM. The thing is we both know what Paul is going to do and we also know what KP is going to do. They do what they do best, what they've always got them wins and that's it. Neither guys are super methodical fighters who have 3 game plans and styles of fighting. With Paul Williams you will expect him to be moving, using lateral movement with a high punch output. With KP, he will come forward use his jab, throw combinations, and will wear his guy down and will try to go for the kill. The thing is that Paul Williams is accostumed to having certain advantages that come with fighting at lets say 147 and being freakishly tall with long arms. However, this time, he won't have those clear physical advantages. Work rate? Yes. Stamina? Not sure, as Kelly never seems gassed. The difference is that this time, he will be the guy with the physical disadvantages; someone who can take a hell of a shot, and who is his own size, but hits harder; a naturally bigger guy, who is going to be gunning for the knock out. Paul has never showed to be a slick defensive guy... his offense is in a way his defense as he overwhelms his oppoenents with the tremendous punch out put. The problem is, what will he do, or better yet, how will he take the punches of the bigger, heavier handed man? If Margarito, who some say is slow as molasses (he does look like his is in slow-mo), was able to get his share of big shots on Paul Williams, I have no doubt Kelly Pavlik will be able to land some bombs on him as well. It all comes down to who can fight their fight better. In my opinion, it will be a great fight, but this one is tilted in Pavlik's favor

yeah margarito is far LESS predictable then pavlik though... pavlik may be one of the most predictable fighters in teh game... it really doesnt matter because he can beat people with his style but it gives people with the skills an advantages on trying to beat him...

paul has the skills to do so
    speed - pw>kp
    conditioning - pw > kp
foot, body, & head movment - pw > kp
    strength - kp > pw
    chin - ?
    length - pw > kp

pw just has to do everything in his power to keep from engaging with kp and picking his spots... using his jab as much as possible moving back wards and not getting cracked by that 1 1 2 combo and he should be good money.... as long as his jaw holds up

I wouldn't necessarily compare AA to Gary Coleman. Gary has better punch output. I will laugh when JT boxes his ears off.

Nobody is getting Ko'd if they fight, Paul is going to score a clear UD though, with some more competetive rounds now and then. 8-4 PW UD.

I'm not feeling this fight at all....Paul might be the better fighter but I don't think his body has acclimated to the 160 division yet . A old Winky is one thing but we talking about a whole different beast in Kelly Pavlik. Paul should concentrate on cementing his legacy at 154 and then moving up.

Unfortunately I don't see this fight going too well for Paul. I hope I'm wrong

I dont like this fight for Pavlik and Williams one Williams hasnt really been hit by a 160 pound puncher and Pavlik is fighting a welterweight and light middleweight so if he loses that doesnt look good for him at all

I do hope this fight happens. It will definitely be a good one, too. I see PW outboxing KP for a few rounds and even taking a few good shots, then around round 5-6 KP finds an opening and lands a bomb or two, which forces PW to stay defensive the rest of the fight. KP by decision.

Yeah, but Ring has Williams #10 p4p and #3 middle. So...... I think that at the moment this is the biggest money fight for either of them.

I don't hate Pav. He just showed his true colors. His trainer has a big mouth, and he his phony along with Pav's promoter Mr. Arum. Alot of talk and a badge. You Pav fans read my posts. I don't give a hoot whether you respond or not. You read my posts, and CHOOSE to ignore them.
