Something tells me this fight wouldn't play out to Pavlik's advantage, and would comfort himself in a pool filled with brandy.
I see their speed as quite close actually. I'm thinking Kessler outboxes and outpunches Pavlik though, but I'd like to watch a guaranteed action fight. :good
:huh Ummm.... the only thing Pavlik can do faster than Kessler is pound an Irish car bomb. Hand and foot speed he is far below Kessler.
The only way I could possibly agree with the speed being close is if you had ended the statement by calling me "Mr. Anderson".
Is ay take your brea catch your bearing and come back against LAcy, Brinkley,MAnfredo,BAlzay or Inkin. **** a couple of good wins and he back in the mix
I just can't get the image of Kessler getting outsped by Calzaghe out of my mind, but yes, Kessler is faster. Not by that much though,...Mr. Anderson. :hey
Usually when a guy loses like that it's, "I can't wait to get back in the gym and prove everybody wrong" etc. I'm questioning whether he really has the motivation to continue in this sport. He's going to need it, because success isn't going to land on his doorstep at 168 or 175, and he's going to have to fight for it if he wants to be something more than just a paper-titleist.
I actually rate Kessler's handspeed up there with anyone in the division besides Dirrell, I think it is more his mental processes are slow, if that makes any sense.
Pavlik will accept a fight against Bute for a big last payday and then retire. Since Pavlik seems to be unmotivated, he'd better take one final fight and go away. If not, he risks to lose against a tomato can. Remember where you read it first... just kidding, I've always wanted to write that.
I kind of think that yet another break is the last thing he needs. I would have thought he needed to stay active and have a bit of continuity in his life and career.
