Pavlik Undercard Announced. Just for Pipe.

No, you're right. I just got tickled. These could turn out to be hellacious fights. One things for sure though, Pavlik and Rubio are gonna look like GIANTS when they get in the ring.

That is a disgrace of an undercard. I wouldn't expect a star studded card but this is practically an insult. I decided not to go to the fight because I saw this coming.

Bob Arum did us all a disservice here and he should be ashamed. I might as well be fighting on this undercard. He teased us by throwing out names like Mario Santiago, Roman Gonzalez and Bastie Samir, and then this is what we get. Sold 5,000 plus tickets in less than five minutes in an arena that sits 7,000 and he can't give us one other fighter in the top 50 in any division. I'm really starting to think boxing won't improve until guys like Arum are promoting in the six feet under division.

 

I have to agree. I was starting to worry when we had 2 weeks to go, and no undercard had been announced. I don't know about you, but I spent $600.00 on 2 friggin' tickets!! The real slap in the face too, is the ticket prices to the MSG half of the evening were exactly the same. Not only to they get Cotto in NY, but a pretty good undercard.

I would have been satisfied with atleast a couple of the fights being atleast MW or up too. Nothing against the small guys, but got dayum, the biggest guys we'll see are a couple Welters before the Pavlik fight.:-(
