Well Kelly hasnt looked dynamite above 160lb, I think if Bute can pick up the pts and stay out of trouble late he can walk away with a decision victory.

I TKO is possible but I think Pavliks biggest strength (his power) takes a serious dent when he moves up in weight.

    Bute on pts.

Paulie, you remember when you said Bute would do something against Andrade that Kessler himself wasn't able to do? Did you mean Bute would almost get himself knocked out?:hey

Yeah, cause Pavlik and Andrade are very similar...

It's funny...but from now on, every time Bute has a fight with a guy who is a good finisher or has a punch or can apply pressure or has a good stoppage record, Bute will get KOed late...

nope becuce pavlik is rangier then Andrade . and although he will be behind on the cards i would favour him to get the ko. however there is always a chance of bute survivng. and getting a 12 rd ud:good

Said himself Bute punched him and their feet interlocked and then Bute pushed him over. That's what I saw too...no knockdown...

    Bute TKO....

i think Pavlik would get outboxed for 9rounds then dropped with a straight left in the 10th

A lot would depend on how Kelly went about moving up to 168. Pavlik has fought above 160 numerous times, but it was always a temporary move. He weighed LESS on fight night for the Taylor rematch than he weighed for the Miranda fight. Before the BHop fight he sustained an injury in training camp that kept him away from the weight training that was part of the plan for adding the additional 10 pounds.

If Pavlik stepped up to 168 the right way, it's a whole different game. I think a fighter needs about 6 months to add the extra weight, and then at least one tune-up in the new division. If KP moved up in that manner, he would not get out boxed, and he would take Bute out in the mid rounds.

If Pavlik moved up quickly, and went straight to a fight with Bute, I would agree with the consensus. Either Bute by UD or Pavlik buy late KO/TKO.
