    Dawson is too fast for Pavlik and he can counter-punch. If Jermain Taylor had Pavlik on quiz-street, Dawson could be the one to finish him.

    Everyone knows Dawson is a bad man, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't analyse his chances in a fight fairly. I do, despite of my dislike for him as a person. What's your problem? You want me to stop analysing match-ups involving him because he's not a decent person?

    I'd have to favour Pavlik. Dawson isn't a big enough light heavy or hard enough puncher to be the favourite. Pavlik's workrate and heavy hands will grind Dawson down, who will stay in the pocket too often and get caught looking to trade. Even if Dawson boxes the pressure Pavlik can apply will be too much.

    No, I wouldn't! For example, I would pick Dawson to be favourite against Bute! How's that?

    I am always as objective as I can when I analyse fights. Sure, I get plenty wrong, just like everyone else, but I always call it as I see it, not as I'd like it to be. Just because I dislike Dawson as a person doesn't mean I'd pick against him when analysing fights. :good
