kessler fihgts very samrt and will not take a risk that he doesn't need . as far as leaving it in the ring he fought till the end against JOE. he just didn't have that extra level or gear to raise so he could raise he showed you everything he had in that fight. but i see him being vulnerable to the body and that wuld be Pavlik ace in the hole

that **** wasn't even close . people that say that were just so suprised that JT wasn't Ko'd that they give him more credit the he deserves he fought to survive in that fight not to win . and thats exactly what he did . had he fought to win he would of been ko'd & he knew it. :good

Your one of possibly 3 people who I have heard say "it wasnt even close". The consensus is that it was a close fight, many rounds were dependent on what you like and how you score fights.
A lot of people had it a draw, most thought it was only really the late surge by Pavlik that made the difference and a sizable minority thought Taylor edged it.

Taylor fought a smarter fight, with better tactics. They werent crowd pleasing and he sometimes looked like a scared fighter but they worked better simple as that.

I had it a draw but felt Pavlik won, as what stands out most to me was the last few rounds he did all the work in.
Can not see how you thought it wasnt even close to be honest mate.

No I watched the fight and scored every round like it was a new fight, Taylor won quite a few of them.
Which is what most people did and how many people saw it.

I think Pavlik can dig down deeper when the going gets tough, so I favor him in this match-up. He will make it a war and Kessler will eventually fold about round 10. I see Kessler starting well with Pavlik starting to take command about round 6. This one would be be a fun fight to watch.

This will no doubt be a fight of the year candidate. I hope it goes down soon. I think Kessler should fight Taylor first and if he wins he can fight Pavlik.

I'm neutral on whether or not Kessler should fight JT before he takes a crack at Pavlik. I just see Pavlik/Kessler as one of the very best fights that could be made mid to late '09.
