I think people are too fixated on the weight, size, and power differece when the essence of the thread is whether or not Pavlik could deal with Maywether's speed, allusiveness, and superior boxing skills. Clearly it was these attributes that Hopkins displayed last night that drove him to his one-sided victory over Pavlik. I'm not saying that PBF wins but the thread poses an interesting debate considering the trouble that Pavlik had dealing with these characteristcs. :think

EXACTLY u dont have to think PBF will win..i respect that but to just dismiss the fight because of size and strength is ridiculous...PBF has many advantages over KP

crude and power... think pbf might get away with what he did to the late Chico without the ko? if pbf wants to man up and thinks he can, we'll have another freaker of a fight to go with DLH-Pacman!!! i wasn't going to bring up the inactivity from floyd because vitali just thru that thought out the window, but i doubt floyd is a disciplined as vitali. B-hop proved the world wrong, if floyd did win he might get the respect and then maybe not for taking on damaged goods, but at the sametime kelly wasn't ko'd. :think **** if he thinks he's better than SRR, Duran, and Sweet Pea then kelly should be no problem for him. Duran almost ko'd barkley, i don't think floyd would do the same, but his defense would be a problem for any fighter. these fights were more common 15-20 years ago when Duran was still around. paz and camacho were lightweights that had some success at middleweight. i don't see a problem

wow YOU ARE TURLY HELPLESS. weight becomes an issue was the point adn yes six lbs can be a bigg difference when moving up no matter how talented you are. take in to factor reach , height, power. skills pay the bills yes but if the bil isn't piad the lights can go out.

    please type sensibly

weight is a factor but it is not the ONLY factor. Floyd has speed, footwork, smarts, elusiveness, and he has never lost. We all know KP is bigger that does not mean he wins

and lenord is a better fighter with more power and is naturally bigger then pbf and foguht a great mw . who happens to be 5"9 who didn't pose the phyiscial dissadvtages a tallelr power puncher would of .which is why lenord was able to us his reach and ount manuever the very mobile hagler and steal rounds.

    so what is your point?

please think about your next post lenord did not start at 130. lenord was also faster then pbf at 147. and just as skilled.

what are you talking about??as previously stated, this thread isn't about size alone.its who wins pav or floyd??you took it all out of proportion when mentioning hw's which is completely ridiculous.these 2 hav fought 1 weight class apart...that puts it into context alot better than 6 lbs i hope

yes it is an intresting question. but the thread starter is not stating it as a question he is stating that pbf would beat KP . and that it doesn't matter at all about any of the factors. he is not using logic or event breaking down a win.

this is called JOCKEY RIDING,nutt hugging, sperm bucket ECT....

no it would not be similar 2 very different styles of fighting. chico althoguh a tall fighter at 130 and 135 he never fougth tall . and had short arms for a tall fighter. he was not a jab, jabb rgith hand or jab,jab right hook or left hook type of fighter. totally to different type of fighters.
