You need to specify which Garden, honky.

If you aren't from NY, "the Garden" doesn't necessarily mean MSG. You got me excited for a second. :bart

I think Pavlik wins this fight @ 160 but Abraham would win at 168.

You're a bit slow I see. Did I say that? Where did I say that. I said he will have a much easier fight with Abraham than the Taylor fights which were razor thin other than the one round Pavlik stopped JT. Hell, Jermaine Taylor would beat Abraham senseless as well.

You said "easier time with Abraham than Taylor" which leads one to believe that you actually think he had an easy time.

It has nothing to do with me being "slow", it has to do with you having a hard time making yourself clear.

after this fight...if it happens at all...there needs to be some interview or something to fill us in on why it took so damn long to make this fight. having said that...

staying true to all the other posts ive made on this topic...pav by later round tko/ko. i cant see aa being able to keep that turtle shell defense up all fight w/ pav banging away on those forearms in the early rounds. i think those forearms will eventually drop and leave aa exposed for a stoppage.

Abraham lost 4 rounds to a 6' 1", featherfisted guy with a mediocre jab. LuJaun Simon was the #43 middleweight in the world. Arthur's fans would like to believe that Pavlik/Abraham will be a FOTY candidate, but it won't. It'll be more like Hearns/Duran or Foreman/Frazier. The short guy takes a quick, brutal beating, and gets sent home early.

I want to see this fight happen more than any other. We're both confident what Kelly will do to this amateur, but it has to happen so all the A"A"A fans will finally realize that haymakers don't make it once the competition gets intense.

And if Duddy get to fight Chavez Jr...OMG, what I night it will be!!! I don't like Jr., would rather see Greg Proksa (also 154 lbs) break him in 2, but I'll be satisfied after Duddy gets the job done.

    :bbb

    From Fightnews.com
After the fight, promoter Bob Arum named John Duddy, Oscar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao as potential opponents for Chavez Jr.

Everybody knows the story since I've told it a hundred times, but I'll tell it again. I had a much higher oppinion of AA back when most of what I knew about him was based on ESB hype. Back in January I took the time to watch 5 of his fights over a couple days, and my opinion of Arthur went down hill fast. Since then I watched the Simon fight, and had to adjust my opinion downward again. Abraham has only faced two opponents over 6 foot; Kingsley Ikeke and LuJaun Simon. If he approachs Kelly Pavlik the way he approached Ikeke or Simon, he'll leave the ring on a stretcher in under 5 rounds.

Anyone who saw the fight knows that AA didn't lose 4 rounds against Simon, and if you think he did lol,... so what if he did. Pav was outboxed by a 43 year old, and if any of you think Pav is going to have an easy time with AA, you are mistaken, or you are a part of team Pav. Then again, these are the same ans who fed you the bull that if Taylor did this to Hop, what do you think Pav will do lol. AM can box, and that is why I pick him to ko Pav.

What would he do? The only fighter with a known name AA has stopped is glass jawed Miranda and it took him a fight and a half to do it so there is no way to know and that implies you think AA is a bigger puncher than Taylor, but you really think Abraham is gonna land around 50% of his power punches like Taylor did. Pavlik has been drilled plenty of times without going down, including against Miranda who broke AA's jaw.
