At the risk of looking like I am answering myself..... That would be interesting. Usually serious negotiations don't start until after Pavlik's last fight so I'm doubtful. I suppose it could be done in the form of an 'option' IF both fighters win, etc.... Still dubious....

They can easily iron out the major portions of a contract: Money, venue, time and date, and they can even settle some of the details like gloves, et. They can also put in certain stipulations such as both winning this summer, and being injury free, et.

There is almost zero chance of Mora or Lorenzo pulling off an upset, and the chances of Mora hurting Pavlik or pretty much zero. Lorenzo can bang a bit, but he lost to Marquez, so . . . . :patsch

I'm actually glad neither guy is taking any chances.

Well there's two good, specific point-by-point responses.

And the little bit of name-calling strengthens your case ?

Actually, it strenghens mine, as Boo resorts to name-calling too when his anger issues overwhelm him.

At any rate, as I've mentioned to PipeWrenched, I'll take his word that he's actually seen TWO posters knocking back a few. And if he wasn't seeing double, then you are distinct posters.

Believe what you want. That seems to be your way anyhow. You don't even see the first post WAS a specific. EVERYTHING in the post was wrong. How more specific do you need. Yeah, and you just strengthened my case in my reference to you. :deal

I'm one of AA's biggest fans here at ESB, but I try to have a more realistic opinion about the outcome of this foty candidate (if it happens):

I think that AA will be in much better shape for this fight. Like Ulli Wegner, Abraham's coach, said:

"It's a big challenge, but if Arthur's shape will be the same like in his last fight against Simon, he has no chance against Pavlik. From now on Arthur will go through hell....

Wegner will do everything which is needed to get AA in good shape. Nevertheless, if AA will be in the shape he was against Simon, he will have a hard time and almost no chance against Pavlik.

If AA manages to show up in the shape he was against Miranda (especially in the first fight) and Gevor and if Pavlik will show respect for the "Abrahammers" (and he will, because his defense is not as strong and has not improved as much as some guys here on the forum want to make us believe) then he will win. Wegner will bring AA back on track and in the end he will win, probably by KO.

Pav wears his opponents down and loves to put pressure on fighters with a more defensive style. His jabs are powerful and accurate. AA normally is a type of fighter Kelly loves to fight.

AA loves to counter-punch and when he does that he counters with bombs. His defensive is excellent. He loves opponents who come at him.

Both guys are made for each other and in the end we have to wait until the fight happens to decide who of these guys is better in what they do.

Personally, I think Pavlik won't underestimate Abraham like some of his fans do. Abraham on the other hand definitely won't underestimate Pavlik. The fight is going to be very exciting, if it happens. I really do hope that it happens, for me it would be the foty.

It appears you don't know what 'specific' means.

Saying 'EVERYTHING' does not get into specifics.

    Let's look at the post:

    (1) is undeniable to anyone who spends any amount of time on here.

    (2) You are both big fans of Pavlik

(3)Both of you have disparaged Euro fighters in general and Calzaghe in particular

And the name-calling, well that's self evident.

I hope you're right about Arthur taking his weight issues serously. He has 6 months to revamp his nutrition and training.

Since when isn't "everything" specific when EVERYTHING was wrong? Yeah. I know what the word means and even how to use it, unlike others seem to think. You believe what you want so what does it matter? It doesn't. Just keep those blinders on, it makes the rest of us look better.

Even if everything was wrong (which it wasn't), responding with a "EVERYTHING" would not have been specific. In maintaining your position, even in the face of an opportunity to correct matters, just further reinforces your lack of grasp of the meaning.

The post had three main points.

    (1) You and Boo mostly post together

    (2) You're both big fans of Pavlik

    (3) You both have demonstrated a disdain for Euro fighters.

In a follow-up post, i clarified and supported all three points.

And again, having nothing with which to refute the thrust of the earlier post, you retreat into another refusal to back up any of your points.

In fact, your very first sentence betrays your ignorance of the meaning of specific:

Since the word has existed !

Maybe a dictionary would help you out here.

And still no reply on any of the specifics.

I don't have time to teach you the language and I'm fairly certain I can't teach you to think. So go ahead, pop in your last post and we can be done with this.

    Pop it in Again ?

Posts # 62, 85 and 88 have all three points and they've been made three times already.

I doubt if saying it a fourth time is going to help you any, given your reluctance to address any of the three points.

For your own future edification, maybe you could just look up the word SPECIFIC.

Manager Wilfried Sauerland is quoted as saying that "we are in intense, good negotiations".
