    **** off.

I dont like him as a fighter, nor do I think he is in the upper echelons of elite. But this guy is undefeated and has great power, a very good tortoise shell defense, is very strong, has a superb chin, and has a couple (Not many) of good wins on his resume. Ie Eastman and Miranda. (He shoulda lost fight number 1)

Who the **** are you to call him a bum. It pisses me off when people do this.

Yeah. He came to Miranda's back yard to put that controversy to rest and he is willing to fight Pavlik and Sturm. Sturm isn't up to it though. While I think Pavlik will do better than most people here, AA is not where near bum status. That type of disrespect is uncalled for.

Pavlik-Abraham is more likely than ever!

IMO this fight WILL happen in January 24, 2009.
    - HBO and Top Rank have already reserved that date for a Pavlik PPV
    - Calzaghe fights Jones in November - I don't see him getting back in the ring (if he'll ever return after Jones) - before May or June 2009. Perfect date for Pavlik's SECOND 2009 fight
    - Kelly's got unfinished business at 160, the Hopkins fight at 170 is just an interesting trip - and unless he KO's Hopkins (10% IMO), win or not win, he will look bad - so it will look logical to move back - but who to fight? Abraham will be ready, the public will demand it, and HBO will be very excited (Pavlik-Abraham is the big plan for the 2009 season starter)
    - Pavlik mentioned Abraham in every single press conference and interview of his in the last few months, stating that he just can't fight Arthur right now since he's got a mandatory... so Kelly and Top Rank are very interested in that fight, just late 2008 wasn't the right date
    - the US fans can watch Abraham's next fight vs. Marquez on half-price PPV, so it will be his second live fight in the US, and he became pretty popular after the stunning win over Miranda

So... I think there's a very good chance that we'll see this fight in early 2009. And hey... if you ask ANY hardcore fan to make a short list of possible dream fights of today - this one will be included in every single list...

Yeah. Some hardcore Pavlik haters keep ignoring that this date has been set by HBO. I post it, they ignore it.

Just look at the votes, this fight is a MUST. Will Pavlik move back down to Middleweight after his next fight?

The last time Kelly fought at 170 he fought at 160 five weeks later, but he was a bit younger of course, so losing the weight may have been easier. I don't think he'll bulk up for Hopkins, he'll just lose less than normal like he did for JT at 166. Also, I don't think he has lost sight of his goal of unifying at 160. However, there's basically one big fight for him at 160, and a bunch at 168-175, so ya never know.

He's already the undisputed champion at Middleweight and no one can deny that, there's no unifying to do to be honest unless it's called "unifying" paper because the IBF is on the line. It's just that Abraham is the one to fight at Middleweight right if he comes out victorious against his mandatory Marquez.

I don't see Marquez stopping AA and it will be in Germany, so it would be very hard to get a points win. AA's 30 second round ending flurry is enough for those judges. :-(

You should get over your bias and be more objective. You sound like a fool with posts like that.
