Well, I'm not taking your word on it, especially since you can't define it.:-(

I believe that was an answer to your bias charge against me?

What does he mean by that? Yeah, Ottke was in some controversial decisions but what about DLH-Sturm, DLH-Quartey, Holyfield-Lewis? Does that mean every non-American fighter get´s robbed in the states? I don´t think so. Same over here in Germany.

A 30 sec. flurry is enough if his opponents hit nothing than gloves. I bet you guys critisising germany have not seen too much fights over here.

    It's pretty ****ing obvious, Hermit.

First you denied there was any bias in your post.

Then you tried to justify the bias.

    You stated:

Is there any explanation other than that you believe the German judges to be biased ?

And since that much is so obvious, Loewe's remark:

"If you don´t know it, every hope is lost."

    is pretty much spot on.

As for SP_Immortal's lame interjection on your behalf:

    "SVEN OTTKE

That's all there is to say about that."

He (and you) seem to think that one badly officiated bout proves
    across-the-board incompetence/bias in Germany.

If such were the case, one might say:

    Holyfield-Lewis (1)

That's all there is to say about the US.

    or

    Trinidad-Delahoya

That's all there is to say about the US.

    or

    Forrest-Querty

That's all there is to say about the US.

There are some shitty officials in every country. Germany has no monopoly there.

So, it is now bias to point out other people's bias? You have failed logic 101.

Sorry, all is not same everywhere, pointing out that one country, or perhaps more specifically, one promotion(I'm looking at you Sauderland) has more corrupt officiating/judging is not proof or even evidence of "bias". It is simply and interpretation of the facts, and a solid interpretation at that.

Just look at the Sauderland sponsored debacle in Spain during the Airich/Williams fight - has there ever been a more blatant case of corrupt officiating at that level in any other country, ever? THE REF HELPED AIRICH UP WHEN HE WAS KNOCKED DOWN AND THE BELL RUNG THE MIDDLE OF THE ROUND WHEN HE WAS IN TROUBLE. Nothing like that has ever happened in the US at that level, ever. Nor has it happened anywhere else that I know of.

Sorry if you think the truth is biased.

If you want to blame someone for the recent German reputation of fight fixing, blame Sauderland. Don't attack the messenger. It makes you seem ignorant of what's going on.

Sorry, that's not one fight. Sven Ottke's entire career spans a multitude of blatantly biased reffing and crooked judging.

No, they have no monopoly. But their market share is pretty ****ing high right now.

    long way to go, rookie...

This "event" in Spain was promoted not by Sauerland Event but by another German promotion known as Arena Box-Promotion, CEO Ahmet Öner.

As for Ottke: There were many narrow fights, which could have gone either way but just 2 fights that really went into the wrong direction/were blatant robberies - Ottke vs. Brewer I and Ottke vs. Reid...

    Quality post Kobe!!

Pavlik, your hero, has had all 34 fights where?? You`ve guessed it,in his own backyard!!

Abraham, the man you criticise because, "he won`t leave his backyard" had his last fight in Florida.

This is the stuff we need on the board, nothing but the facts. :patsch
