So who is an A fighter at middleweight? I don´t see any better guys than the two. Taylor was beaten twice by Pavlik, Sturm sadly was ruined by the De La Hoya robbery and I don´t see Sylvester having a chance against either Abraham or Pavlik.

So in my opinion those two are top notch at the moment in MW.

You are right, but when comparing them to fighters like RJJ at 160, Joe Calzaghe, Hopkins (2001-2003), Mosley + DLH (2002, 03) it's clear that they are no A-Level fighters...I just set their levels into recent historic comparison... ;)

bulldozed miranda? he needed dozens of punches to bring miranda down. abraham changed the fight with one punch. and though we share our concers about peter, abraham is nothing like him. he has a good defense, is fast, can throw good quality counterpunches and has a technical background though he relies on his power. oh yeah, and he is intelligent...

I don't think Abraham will need judges to help him here. Also, Germany is far better than other places in terms of bull**** scoring. They easily could have DQ'd Miranda in that fight with his intentional low blows, elbows and headbutts but still gave him many chances.

Like I said, they're far better than other places.

Abraham is no bum; to even entertain that idea is ridiculous. He in all reality is a monster puncher and may even hit harder than Pavlik. That being said I'd pick Pavlik in this one because he has a much better workrate and his style is a horrible matchup for Abraham. When Abraham turtles up in his ear muff defense, Pavlik will be picking him apart with straight shots down the middle and ultimately scoring a late stoppage. Will be a great fight

I guess I have a problem with so call 'defensive fighters' that don't come to fight. Some fighters, quite rightfully, embrace the 'show' aspect. No tickee, Paycheck. So, I don't care how good those 30 seconds are if you are unwilling to mix it up for the rest of the round. I think we will begin to see more and more fights scored for aggression and willingness to take risks in order to compete with other forms of figthing.

I don't know if you follow MMA, but Pride used to bring back guys with less than stellar records because they came to fight and left it all in the ring. Fan's didn't care if they didn't have an OH at the end of their record. Great Stuff.:deal

An exciting fight to watch but AA hasnt fought any real top contenders except for Miranda, Kelly on the the other hand has. Unless Kelly makes a big mistake and allows Arthur time to land one of his wild looping puches, kelly picks him apart.

this is what sticks with me too.

abraham has only taken on one solid, recognised opponent.

but at the same time he did what everyone thought he would - came back from a brave win in germany with that broken jaw and buried miranda.

both pavlik and abraham have balls and i think this could be an absolute *******.

and Taylor...so he has fought 2 and AA has fought one, that's fair to say, but what does this say about the fight? Nothing...

Pavlik on points due to far superior workrate. He won't knockout Abraham.
