In a way, while it'd be nice for an old war horse like Marquez to pull off the upset..I'm rooting for Abraham so we can see this big fight at 160.

AA is going to knock PAv into the middle of next week. Just kidding, I do have AA to ko Pav, but it will be a systematic beat down. AA will use defense and use his hand speed/power to catch Pav when he opens up. AA likes to sit back and block and then open up. The danger of doing that with Pav is that Pav comes forward when he punches, he has power, and he is a straight puncher. AA will use his defense, but he also has side to side movement. AA has to be very selective because Pav, even though he is slower, can time AA. I just think AA's defense, speed and power is too much for Pav. AA ko in 7...

How come a guy is a B level fighter if he gets hit by 20% of power punches and the other one an A if he gets hit by 40-50%? :-(

At 412 votes, here is the opinion of the Eastsideboxing community.

193, half of the voters think Pavlik will stop Abaraham
    82, 20% think he'll outbox the Armenian
    8 voters, 2% expects a draw
22, only 5% voted for Abraham on points
107, quarter of the voters think King Artur will KO the MW king

That's pretty onesided, two thirds for Pavlik, less than one third for Abraham. What is pretty interesting that so many expect a Pavlik stoppage despite Miranda breaking Abraham's jaw even without stunning him for a moment... How is he going to stop the tough and big hearted Arthur?

The results here say Pavlik, but in the other thread that has the same poll, Pavlik and Abraham are about 50%-50%, so I'd say the ESB community has changed its mind a bit?

Anyway, this fight HAS to happen sometime soon, this kind of fight is what boxing fans want to see no matter the outcome.

Pavlik will stop AA, I know its unthinkabe but so wasnt his stoppage of Miranda and Taylor....they were put to sleep and so will AA....Abraham doesnt throw a straight punch, they are all wide looping bar room brawl punches which match up very nicely for Pavliks crushing and whiplash inducing straight punches....plain and simple

What exactly was the punch, Abraham hurt Miranda with? - Ahh, it was a short, straight right hand... :yikes

Plain and simple you know nothing of Abraham :D

Those "wide looping bar room brawl punches" were just to finish a broken Miranda, for sure Abraham has other boxing techniques.

I have that fight 50:50 either Pavlik by outboxing on points or Abraham by brutal KO. Remember Abraham was NEVER on the floor, Pavlik knows how the ground tastes. :bbb

WHa the **** are you talking about? I've watched enough of Abraham to know how the **** he fights...he throws wide looping punches, rarely if ever does a straight slip in....Stop fooling yourselves...AA is one of the laziest fighters on the planet....and he will be thoroughly crushed IF and when AA decides to come out of Deutchland

    :rofl

Man, did you miss him sending Miranda to the floor 3 times in June - that fight was in Florida - but maybe you think that Florida counts to Cuba these days...

Pfff...what do you mean by "IF"? Do you think that AA is a bum who ducks tough opponents? AA definitely won't duck Pavlik. This is bull****. Abraham ist sicher der letzte, der nicht gegen Pavlik kämpfen möchte...
