Lads learn more about Aruthur Abraham

Abraham has the best chin in boxing, he is not getting knocked out.

Who said that Abraham is a great fighter?
He would look terrible against a Cory Spinks type of fighter, would probably loose a 10:2 decision against a prime Winky. But if you think that he isn't a LIVE underdog against Pavlik you're just ignorant.
    Pavlik KO 33%
    Pavlik points 33%
    Abraham KO 34%

I am not sure if his high guard will work against the heavy-handed Pavlik. Winky's face looked like he was hit by a slegdehammer against Taylor although Taylor hardly landed any clean shots. Of course, Abraham is physically stronger than Winky but nonetheless I'm sceptical if he can block all of Pavlik's shots. That's why I don't rule out "Pavlik by TKO".

Have you seen his fight with Miranda? He beat Miranda with a broken jaw, in the fourth round and was not knocked down despite the fact that he had such a brutal injury. His chin is cast iron.

Pavlik would not stop Abaraham, he would win on points due to his higher work rate and if anybody was hurt it would be Pavlik.

But he could only last the distance because Miranda hardly hit him. I also think that Abraham has a very good chin but against Miranda he survived because of Miranda's flaws who was unable to catch him with any meaningful punches.
And you don't have to knock s.o. down to win by TKO.

I'll give to Pavlik on points bc. of his high workrate, but I'll not be suprised if Abraham koed Pavlik.

Pavlik late stoppage with AA still on his feet. He's just got better skills and will punish AA continually. However Abraham is a very live and dangerous underdog due to the styles clash. He's a big stong guy with genuine one punch ko power and Pavlik, who's looked vulnerable before will get clocked at some point. Its a good style match up and should make up for a brutal fight. As someone mentioned earlier, you put AA in with a slickster and he'll probably get whipped.

These Pavlik guys are a joke. They act like Pavlik is some slickster, and it's inconceivable he could get knocked out. He's sloppy as hell and has no defence. Abraham is very very live in this fight, he has genuine one punch KO power. That's not hit them with about 50 shots until the ref jumps in power, that's one punch the guy is out cold power

His major problem in this fight is his inactivity, especially in comparison to Pavlik. In all probability he'll be outworked and lose a decision. However, I wouldn't bet any on money on it, but I have a feeling Abraham could pull this out

Pavlik wins himself a wide decision if he lasts 12. Can he last 12 against Abraham? Sure thing! His movement and defence might not be great, but they're good enough to steer clear of the one-punch KO. I want to see me Abraham against Miranda again, before changing my mind. If he cannot take Miranda out, he sure as hell won't take Pavlik out.

Apart from Taylor Pavlik's skalps cant hold a candle to Abraham's victims.

As for the Miranda fight Abraham was on his way to victory when one of Miranda's lucky haymakers broke his jaw. However, despite fighting with a broken jaw and losing tons of blood he was the one who seemed to be more likely to take out his Columbain foe than the other way round.Watch round 9 of their encounter.
IMO Miranda is one of the fighters who is totally overrated on this forum.
Can anybody here really imagine that Miranda would have survived 8 long rounds with a broken jaw losing tons of blood in every round turning the ring into a slaugherhouse if he had been the one with that severe injury facing an healthy Abraham in his opposite corner.Abraham would have murdered and butchered him within one round.

And by the way he defeated his compatriot Ghevor after the Miranda fight who is head and shoulders above Pavlik's next opponent Lockett.

    I like both of them.

My opinion about this century fight is that Pavlik have more chance because he is in top shape and have a lot belives on him self. Pavlik have more combinations punches who will hurt Abraham. Abraham problem is that his jaw was brocken and will cant resizt Pavlik punches but Abraham punching hard and one puch can finish fight, but I`m going for Pavlik by stopage in the lately rounds .
