This is the idea i have liked all along, but leave that ****ing Latin Fake out! I'd rather see Karmazin get a pay day.

Karmazin would be nice for either of them. Even Simon would be better than Mora, many of us are pretty interested how would Kelly do vs. the previously unknown Philly.

Simon seemed to be pretty heavily dependent on the jab. That's not a bad thing. It's probably the most important punch in boxing, but when you're feather fisted like Simon, a jabbing contest is NOT where you want to go with Kelly Pavlik:bart It wouldn't last 5 rounds.

Rafeal reports that AA-Forrest is probably off as Vernon is taking on a 10 rounder on April 24th, and will probably fight Sergio Martinez (both fights mandated by contract). So according to ESPN, Abraham will now face mandatory challenger Giovanni Lorenzo, who lost to Raul Marquez, but came back strong vs. Dionisio Miranda in a bull**** eliminator. Rafael says the fight will be in Germany, I guess because Showtime, is not really interested in Lorenzo.

Regardless, Arum told ESPN that he's still planning KP-AA later this year. "We're working on it. Kelly will fight Mora and Abraham has a fight this summer. Then hopefully we can bring them together. Abraham wants it and the Pavlik people say they can't wait to do the fight. We'll try to do it on one of the networks. It's the fight that all the sportswriters want. It's probably the most enticing fight conceivable for premium cable."

Like I've said before, I'm really against KP and AA fighting guys from lower divisions, the Latin Fake or even the #1LMW Vernon Forrest. Lorenzo is a more credible MW opponent IMO. Forrest is no MW.

Yeah, almost forgot. I think Sauerland and Arum should put some money in it at put Abraham-Lorenzo on the Pavlik-Mora bull**** PPV. It makes sense. Pavlik is no PPV seller but having the two best MWs on the same show could generate better numbers. And of course being a double-header, it'd be an excellent promotion for the unification fight, and a chance to the ticket/PPV buyers to be able to watch Abraham in work, which they'd miss if the fight was in Germany.

Although a few more bucks from Arum's and Sauerland's purse, it's a win-win situation. And Abraham could steal the show fighting an aggressive opponent willing to trade, something scared Mora won't do.

I still think Pac/Hatton in May killed any budget/interest in this fight in the May/June/July time frame. Summer may be a bad time for big fights anyway. Vacation time. Just a guess/thought.

Even squirrels are on vacation that time. :D

You are right, both HBO's and Arum's budget are out for the Summer. But that doesn't mean Bobby and Wilfy can't put AA-Lorenzo on the Pavlik-Mora bull**** PPV. This double-header is the perfect way to set up KP-AA on HBO WCB.

    If both win

Pavlik vs. Mora 27th June in AC

Abraham vs. Lorenzo 27th June in Germany

both are likely to fight on November 7th at MSG

    ...that's what German media says...
