Pavlik vs Andrade?? Who'd win?!

I'm not sure Pavlik would stand in line for Stieglitz. I'm pretty certain he wouldn't go to Germany for the fight. If they can hammer out a deal outside the mandatory route, it could happen, but I doubt Stieglitz fights anyone that is a thread if they aren't in a mandatory position.

 

Pavlik and Andrade should both say no to the idea of appearing in seperate fights on a Bute card, and fight each other on their own card. HBO would be crazy not to buy that fight. Even if HBO said no I'm sure they could make it work on a Top Rank PPV. Hell, for that matter they could do something with a special edition of Top Rank Live.

 

How would that work if Andrade promoter is gbp? You think Oscar will let Andrade fight Pavlik on top rank ppv?

 

The winner of the fight will be the one who has the better chin, I honestly think Pavlik by md. Andrade is a relentless pressure fighter, who has average power at best with an above average chin. Compared to Pavlik his defense is non existant. If I were KP I would dig in to Andrades body early and use his jab to control distance for the straight right. I don't think we see any kd's in this fight, I do think we see a lot of swelling and cuts from either fighter.
KP by Decision, would be a VERY intriguing fight and a good intro for Pavlik at 168.

We can always dream. A Top Rank vs Golden boy co-promotion would pretty cool. Make it 5 good fights, and give us the normal $39.95 price, and it would probably do well.

 

He wouldn't need to go to Germany. He'd wait for purse bid, and I'm pretty sure that Top Rank would be able to outbid Universum.

 

I'm not sure either promoter would want that fight right now anyway. Andrade is probably tougher than what they want Pavlik to face next (TR always has guys face creampuffs after a loss, see Cotto vs. Jennings or Pavlik vs. Rubio/Espino or Pacquiao vs. Velazquez), and Pavlik is probably tougher than the guys GBP wants Andrade fighting as well.

Andrade is tailor made for a guy like Pavlik he comes forward is slow, plodding and easy to hit. Pavlik by wide UD.
