bute and pavlik both have great but different skills. like a lot of fights, it depends on who can fight THEIR fight. if pavlik can dictate the pace, timing and flow of the fight i see him wearing bute down and doing like andrade did in the 12th but much earlier. if bute can dictate the fight AND remain disciplined, he will use slick movements and combinations to pick up points and dominate rounds from the distance, occasionally stinging kp but playing it safe. pavlik is more consistent and has fought better opposition but i see bute as being a better pure boxer. tough pick to be sure

It is hard to pick. Bute would trouble him with his footwork, handspeed and combinations, but if Pavlik dictates it and does retentless pressure he can KO him...

Agreed , but Bhop don't hit to body with the same intention then Bute!If Bute doesn't use his body shot (wich i think are his powershot) it could go the distance but i still think Bute UD , Bute will be bigger,faster and move a lot better! But Pavlik bring the thougness and a great chin . FOTY contstent for sure!
