Pavlik vs Calzaghe is it gonna happen next?

Well Joe's two top candidates ae Pavlik and Jones .

The Jones fight would be huge but Kelly would be easier to Negotiate ..Regardless one of these fights wil happen which one only a matter of time !

 

It all depends on $$$$$$$. Calzaghe will either make or break this one from happening. Kelly would be satisfied with a couple of million. He's just wants to prove he's better & get above Joe on the P4P list, where he feels he rightfully deserves to be.

 

I like Jones against Joe even though thats throwing faith in the wind ..And I like Joe over Kelly only because he's spent more time north of 160..

 

Pavlik is definately going to take another fight before he would fight Calzaghe. Calzaghe may choose to cash out against Jones. However, there's going to be a lot of public pressure for him to fight Pavlik.

 

Its funny but this is the time where you need a Larry Merchant in Joe's face forcing the issue !

 

Pavlik should confront Calzaghe like David Haye did with Klit.

 

Kelly is too classy for that he should confront him but I don't think e's as disrespectful as Haye !

 

Hell yeah I do ..I don't think Williams has been tested 1 and I also belive that he doesn't have the big time expereince to beat Oscar !

I could be wrong but considering how Quintana schooled him the first time its not far fetched ..As far as Jones well he doesn't need a miracle he just needs to stay off the ropes and not let Joe out work him .His hand speed is still there and he has plenty of power left ..It be a long night for Roy but Joe doesn't have any power to have Jones all that concerned .And I don't see Kelly stopping Joe only because all this remeinds me of the Lacy talk ..The exaxct same thing was said and Joe put on a clinic ..kelly is too much of a streight forward fighter for JOE imo ..He may be relentless by Joe's awkwadness would fluster Kelly ..

I don't agree at all that Jones would need a miracle at this point in time to beat Joe C..... He's still damn good. I would not bet against him. It's not like Joe would knock him out...:yep

I would like to see it....... Joe C. and R. Jones...not to disagree with you but I didn't think Trinidad looked bad at all, if Jones wasn't in great shape Trinidad's body shots would have worn him out...Trinidad can still bang....:yep

I think that Pavlik will be Joe's next fight. However there is a strong chance that Joe will want the fight in November and Pavlik will take an interim fight in September. ( if only to bloody up another mandatory and keep his earlier goal of doing 4 fights a year )

Given the prospect of avenging Enzo's honor after Lockett's mauling, public pressure and Pavlik's cheaper price tag if Joe passes on Pavlik on his next fight it can be safely assumed that Joe has no intention of fighting Pavlik ever.
