If Pavlik can catch JC with the overhand right and hurt him he'll have a fair chance.Otherwise hes F**ked and will get a Lacy stile beating.

enzo would brutally KO Loew in a fight.

If pavlik comes out and disrespects JC then i think the fight will be signed about 5 mins after the fight.

i do not think either fighter willdo this though they have built they reputations with they actions in the ring not the constant running of they mouths outside it.

pavlik needs to get a bigger sledge for that tyre if the JC fight goes ahead

But Enzo has been known to do a bit of sparring in the gym even now, and he frequently sparred with the young Calzaghe and gave him the odd ass whooping :bbb

Loew ain't done **** except pave driveways. That doesn't prepare you to face a top level like Enzo. He needs to step up his competition, and at least pave a sidewalk.

You tryin' to say Jack Loew can't pave a God Damned side walk?? He would black top Enzo's ass, and then run him over with a Monster truck tire.

    I dont thik so....

This is a very dangerous fight for JOE and the 1st time he has ever fought an ELITE fighter in his PRIME...amazing considering hes defended the TITLE 20+ times (amazing what u can get away with being an F Warren fighteR).

I also dont think Joe will be able to get Pavliks respect with his power.

People underestimate How Good J Tayor was, he beat a better version of B Hop (fresher) twice in the same manner Joe did.

I see pavlik winning a UD

All I'm saying is Loew has a padded record right now

All he did was pave his moms driveway and talk a lot of **** to the media. He stood his ass there and watched Kelly beat the **** out of a tire screeching "YEEHAW KELLY". Let me tell you something Loew, Enzo Calzaghe moves unlike that god damn tire :deal

I don't think he deserves a shot and he brings no money to the table with his shitty 100 bucks a week paving drives, 50 of which goes to tire rental :hi:

I have been hoping for this fight for a long time. I predicted last year after Pavlik vs Taylor I, to much scorn and ridicule from his fans, that Pavlik would knock Calzaghe out. I give Calzaghe props for his career accomplishments, although overblown by many, but he will have to knock Pavlik out to win the fight or run like a girl. Unlike Kessler (whom many call a better version of Pavlik), Pavlik will not back up. I have been watching Pavlik fight since the Zuniga fight in 2005. He does not back up, period. Whereas Kessler and Lacy were completely disspirited by the middle of their fights with Pavlik, Pavlik has the heart and determination to press forward no matter what. I hope that those Calzaghe fans who think he is the second coming, will not have any lame excuses when Pavlik knocks him out (he broke his hand, he stubbed his toe, the ref screwed him, he had the sniffles, etc, etc). If Calzaghe beats him and especially as easily as most Calzaghe fans predict (didn't you same group of fans predict a blowout over Hopkins? I predicted a close decision for Calzaghe), then I will eat my words and graciously give him his props for beating the best fighter of his career. Please, Calzaghe, do not chicken out when the papers to sign are in front of you. Please do not pull out of the fight last second with some mysterious injury. Please let your ego get the best of you and step in to the ring with a young, hungry champion. Prove yourself to all of us (ignorant of your greatness) Americans that you are what all your fans say you are, an ATG.

Lastly, for all of you Calzaghe fans as well as Calzaghe and his dad who say that Pavlik is too mechanical. "All he does is move forward doing the same thing over and over". Exactly!! He moves forward, doing the same thing over and over until his opponent is on his back unconcious. Good luck to you Calzaghe if you have the guts to take the fight and hear the opening bell. All those in love (sorry, I mean fans) with Calzaghe, please notify the medics in Wales to have a stretcher ready by fight time as Calzaghe will need it.

You know, Calzaghe's probably my favorite fighter (and I'm American) but I have to admit that I don't think he would be able to handle the power, determination, conditioning, workrate, height-advantage and youth of Pavlik. I, too, see a stretcher in Calzaghe's future, unfortunately.

    Well, I'm not a Calzaghe nut-hugger but...

Calzaghe eats coming-forward fighters for breakfast. What if moving forward won't work? Kessler adapted to the different situations (outside fight, inside fight, boxing, brawling, picking shots, throwing combos, moving forward, waiting to counter-punch) and Calzaghe adapted to the adapted Kessler :). What exactly Pavlik will do if plan A (coming forward with in a very predictitable way) won't work as it has never worked vs. Calzaghe? What is plan B?

I dunno man. I am quite fond of my early days, I went fishing on here regularly. Those topics never failed to go 8 pages.

Not much of a topic starter anymore
