I may not be from Youngstown, but I am a HARDCORE Pavlik fan. As far as boxing in general, let me put it this way, I remember having arguments on the school bus about whether or not a young upstart named Cassius Clay could beat the great Sonny Liston! So **** off chump!

I hear ya, but he is easily my favorite Calzombie to "fight" with, I guess.

Plug-In-Babies and sometimes Amsterdam (when he's in a good mood) are also tops for a good **** slinger.

did you see TFFP's responses when he and I were "fighting" over who would win beetween Loew and Enzo? Dude is funny than a mo'fo'.

    my prediction is this
first two rounds not alot of action, if pavick is good at defense against southpaws , cal gets frustrated by his inablity to do any damage, takes a few chances and gets KO'd in 9

 Big deal, internet tough guy.

I want to see you do it in person. I dare you. It would look like the first and only round of Pavlik v. Lockett.

And guess who would be Lockett.

I know what you are saying, but if you look closely at the Kessler fight, you could see that the most pedestrian of punches that Calzaghe landed on Kessler, such as jabs, looping lefts with little power, made Kessler move backwards. Pavlik took power shots from both Miranda and against Taylor. Did you ever see him go into the ropes like Kessler and Lacy did repeatedly when Calzaghe would hit them? If neither Miranda nor Taylor can discourage Pavlik, Calzaghe's punching power won't either. Calzaghe has never faced anyone with the physical attributes of Pavlik (height, punching power, heart, determination, willingness to stick to a stategy, great chin, youth). Pavlik will put continuous pressure on Calzaghe for as long as the fight will last and I strongly believe this constant pressure along with the hard shots that Pavlik will land will wear him down.
