dawson easy win. I picked and was rooting for pavlik...but dawson is faster, bigger and probably has more power...not even a close fight. Dawson 3-7th round ko.

I don't know about an easy win but I would definetly lean towards Dawson by a Tko. If Pavlik goes up to 175 his power will most likely diminish as we had already witnesses so many times with other fighters that had moved up. Moreover, his current average speed will diminsh as well, thus, Dawson having an advantage in all most of the departments: power, speed, skill.

How about Bad chin Dawson vs Vitali Klitscko. ****, it is two weight clases apart , as well . Jesus christ.

With all due respect Dawson first two title defense have been against horrible , dreadful opponents that shouldnt of even been in the ring . Although, the second one is not his fault, Diaconu got hurt.

Lol Chad would murder Pavlik :D , the fact that he's a southpaw and a hit and mover with power would spell big trouble for Pavlik, in the middleweight division he usually has an advantage i.e power, height, reach ect but in this one he'd be a rabbit in a Lions cage!!, it would be over by the 4th round imo.

If the fight would take place at SMW I think Pavlik would have a good chance to KO Dawson but most likely it would be a Dawson UD

Floyd Sr. says you can see right threw his chin.

It is just pitiful to watch Bad Chad clubber these slow, one dimenisional, no hoper, tailor made opponents , in his first two title defense. They shouldnt of even been allowed to fight on the undercard of a World title fight.

Well Dawsons opponent did pull out of the fight and the Mendoza fight was made in 12 days notice...I want to see Chad fight Tarver, or Woods or Glen Johnson or Joe Calz...

If Pavlik doesn't KO Chad, he loses on points. A knockdown or two is possible given Chad's questionable chin, however, he always gets up right away and continues to fight just as well. Aside from showing a great deal of heart in his last fight, Pavlik showed he can box (some would say he outboxed JT) very well. This is a very good match-up and a tough fight for both fighters.

Chad probably wins a decision. I hope they don't fight for a while.

I'll take Dawson by TKO at 168 tomorrow, but Kelly can only get better with time.

Jesus Ruiz was his first defense FFS. Give him a break. He then stepped up to fight Diaconu but he pulled out. SO WHAT? Its not like the light heavy division is choc full of talent. Who else is he going to fight? Ancient Tarver? The decidedly average Clinton Woods? The glorified journeyman Glen Johnson? A past prime Paul Briggs? a shot Roy Jones? What would you recommend? Dawson would box the ears off Pavlik for a TKO victory.

Dawson can fight at 168 with no problem says his promoter.

Anyone would be better then two slow nobodies. Dawson looked incredibly good admittingly, he was barely even touched! But he was fighting mickey mouse, and donald duck. In Pavliks last two fights, he fought two of the very best , most dangerous fighters in his class easily. No one wanted to fight Miranda, and Taylor defeated top PFP fighters, and ended the longest MW Title reign in history! It is much easier took look good against slow as ****, one dimensional, no hopers that Dawson has fought. Although, the second one was not dawsons fault as Diaconu was injured, but the fight was such a farce and mismatch.
