    on the same night?

thats absolutly huge,it doesnt make very much sense though, duddy could sell out the garden by himself, with pavlik it just makes it even bigger, and lorenzo surely has a huge following in NYC?

why dont they put them on separate nights?

it makes it all the more worth going over though, and thank **** there's no trip to ohio involved.

get ready for two new world champions on june 7th.

k, I read the news but I must say that either HBO digs deep into its wallet or it must be a PPV.

AA will at least demand about $600.000 as he earned about $1.5 million in his last bout. Seeing Kelly and Duddy earning about $2 million each, there must be at least a budget of about $5 million...

That's GREAT news. I mean an instant Pavlik-Abraham battle would be the best but since they have to deal with Abraham's US marketability this is the right choice. Pavlik's is in trouble.

The two undefeated champions are taking on two undefeated challengers for a 'tune up'. That's the way to make a good fight on the road to a great, MR. OSCAR DE LA HOYA!

As Abraham is a very active fighter I see him taking another fight maybe sometime in March. Putting Adnan Catic on his a** would be a nice start and HBO would air it on delayed telecast. However I don't see that coming. So if not Sturm, maybe Joval, Mora, Griffin or an easy fights against Rubio would be nice. However, my personal choice would be Zuniga.

Firstly Abraham or his promoters or both are a bunch of idiots(to be simple) as you don't bring a fighter up to be champion this way(my thoughts are they're milking the cash cow) Abraham wont even step up to the well known C level fighters you listed above(Zuniga not included as he's a SMW, has been for a few fights) Lastly is it beyond your comprehension that if a fighter is trying to improve his game to fight a REAL champion and only fights cannon fodder till the big day what happens to said fighter??? Ever seen Gallagher perform?? Duddy and Abraham are the watermelon...Pavlik is the mallet...so bring your rain poncho if your in the first 10 rows...it'll get messy

Haha, Gevor was his mandatory and Elcock, Miranda and Ikeke were ranked in the Ring's Top10 at 160 before they fought Abraham. Though he got some gimme fights in between with Demers and Taylor. Do your homework before talking **** - the only fighter Pavlik fought who is better than anyone else on AA resume is Taylor...

I see this as a great promotional build-up for a possible big fight between Pavlik and AA before year's end...

Are you on the same dope Bell took before he tried to chop down his sparring partner whom he thought is a bear?

    This content is protected

Maybe that's what Bell saw. Luckily for him he had got a hatchet in his pocket

I suggest you to watch some Abraham fights and take a look at his record on boxrec. It's free.

1.) Zuniga is a natural LMW/MW fighter who jumped up to challenge and knock out Oganov what he actually did. He's on the IBF MIDDLEWEIGHT list now because his handlers contacted the organization to put him back and rank him down there as he's not a SMW. So he's a middleweight contender now.
2.) What is your problem with Sauerland Events?
3.) I don't understand what is your problem with Abraham's way to the throne. Maybe you don't know sh*t about it, that'd explain everything. He fought for a smaller title just after one year of his pro debut, defeated Hamdan then Gardner, Velazco, Eastman then knocked out no.1 ranked Ikeke for the IBF title. I agree, maybe other promoters making their fighters an easier way to the top.
4.) Undefeated Edison Miranda was a C level fighter, as well as undefeated Damers, mandatory Gevor and British champ Elcock? Is that what’s you’re saying? If so, than your post is one of the ATGs.

Pavlik v Duddy? This is going to be a massacre. Duddy won't last three rounds, and will probably retire off the ppv receipts, if he isn't murdered outright.

Pavlik-Duddy could be the most exciting one-sided fight of the year and Pavlik-Abraham is THE FOTY. I'm very impressed and surprised that Arum is making moves to make the Pavlik-Abraham fight. That's a big risk.

This is a great card IMO; The Pavlik Duddy fight will show us how Pavlik handles getting back down to MW after his clash with Taylor and confirms that his strategy is to honor the rematch clause and continue campaigning at Middle. Good matchmaking vs the very beatable but popular Duddy, intelligent strategizing as this minimizes the effect of any potential loss vs Taylor as well.
