PAVLIK VS DUDDY JAN, 26th

Pavlik's the Champ and the Buckeye's are #1. All's good in O H I O.

 

How has he earned 1 or 2 easy defenses? Big money fight with Duddy which he should win in 2 rounds cuz Duddy has no defense. Then he can go after bigger names than the Latin Fake. Everyone criticizes Jermain Taylor for poor performances, but atleast he fought Hopkins in his first defense and Winky in his second. Plus actually name fighters, albeit junior middleweights, but better fighters by far than Duddy and Mora.

 

This could be a great fight.

 

This is no easy defense Duddy is going to give Pavlik the kind of fight Miranda did:nono
In truth a fighter should take a med level opponent some times not a monster ever time out or the wear and tear will burn him out.:!:
Pavlik has been in 3 wars in a row Zertuche, Miranda and Taylor and is headed for 4th war with Duddy in truth he should giving body a little rest and fighting a non puncher boxer type like Mora.:bart

 

What the hell have Mora and Duddy done to deserve such accolades? People are making them sound like threats to Pavlik in the same way that Cotto, Mosley, and Williams are threats to PBF. It's ludicrous.

 

Pavlik KO9. Duddy isn't ready, and isn't at the level of Pavlik yet, maybe in a year or longer, but right now, nope.

 

I don't see Duddy lasting four rounds with Pavlik.

 

Come on Duddy and Mora are far better fighters then Ouma and Spinks and have bigger names then both men:nono Ouma while a busy fighter but can't bust a egg while Duddy is both busy and can Bang and is a better style match up for Pavlik then Ouma was for Taylor. Spinks is just plain boring and fights scared More likes too mix it up and throw a lot of punches also a better style match up for Kelly:deal

True Taylor fought both Hopkins and Wright right off the bat but both men were names already unlike Abraham who is not well known in USA so a fight with him will take time too build up.:rasta :rasta

 

Hopefully Duddy won't get cut in his tune up this weekend...

 

As a guy of irish background,i hope duddy at least gives it a good go,also whay do people here hate on him so much?,hes a decent enough fighter,has good support,and surley hes doing what you all wanted him to do,step it up and take on one of the big guns,im sure he will not win,but guys this is boxing,and we all know anything can happen.

 

I didn't make the trek to Atlantic City for Pavlik's last fight, but I'm sure going to try this time. KP by KO!!

This is a fight for the promoters to make money because Duddy does'nt deserve a shot at the title, this is bull****.
