Its a deal, PACZ!:good That is, if we decide to go. Pavlik one weekend in AC & Adamek/Golota in MSG the next. Why do they do this to me?:fire

Can't go to both, so we'll have to decide on one.

And I'm sure everyone here will know which one we go to cause thats all I'll talk about for a month before the fight.

Duddy is ranked #4 for the WBC belt and #2 for the WBO belt. (The two belts that PAvlik is defending)

The only folks who are ranked higher are......

    Jermain Taylor
    Giovanni Lorenzo
    Sergia Mora
    Gary Lockett

Excluding Taylor who would be fighting Pavlik in his next fight if he wanted to that leaves a pretty short list.

Just let Abraham take care of Mora in the United States and he will be marketable enough for a fight vs Pavlik.

    :deal

This will be a good fight while it lasts.Due to Pavlik being a slow starter i think Duddy can hang in there for 6 or 7 rounds.Duddy's only chance is to catch Pavlik early - i think he has enough power to hurt Pavlik. However once Pavlik finds his range it will be over quickly unless Duddy has improved his defense by about 1000%

wat about the rematch clause? If JT is the #1 contender for the WBC belt and he had a rematch clause in the contract, how come that isnt the fight being made?:huh

It is entirely up to JT's camp to exercise the rematch clause. It is in his best interest to rest and recoup. Fight a tuneup.

Because Pavlik is a p***y!!! He taken the soft route by fighting Duddy, a figther he knows he will creme. The minute Pavlik fights an elite fighter, he will get outbox. His chin is suspect

If Taylor wasn't the second worst finisher in boxing (McCline being the first) we would be talking about Taylor next figth now.

Well either Taylor has decided not to exercise the rematch clause or he has renegotiated with Pavlik's camp to allow some interim fights.

It suggests to me that Taylor's camp doesn't think they'll win in January and wants more time to work on improving their fighter before the rematch.

well the only thing with your arguement is that people are going to say that taylor was suppose 2 b the "boxer" to expose him but didnt. BUt i can agree with taylor being the worst finisher on the planet, b/c JT had the fight won, but let it get away from him. But i think this lost will make him a better fighter IMO. you measure a fighter heart from how he looks after coming back from a lose. SO I think JT will b more focused and do wat he needs 2 do 2 become champ again. But the rematch clause thing I still cant understand though, he has a clause for a rematch but cant get it. Thats bs
