Right on. DUdes sure as **** won't admit it now, but I've seen tons of posts back in the day where people from over there talked about how little Joe was known and respected before the Lacy deal.

 

I seen the interview of Froch stating this on British TV. Maybe some of the Brits on this forum can verify my claim.

 

I wouldn't mind this fight at all. It'll be a short fight but we would see a ****in brawl while it lasts with alot of leathers flying and bloods spilling everywhere. Imagine Duddy pinning pavlik against the ropes and landing one of his haymaykers. Who's to say that pavlik wont get KTFO?? Id lean towards pavlik but still....

 

Excuse my cynicism, but Froch SAYS an awful lot. You are telling me he accepted Taylor's offer and then Taylor PULLED it? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If Taylor got the fight on his terms I would have to believe this fight would be on. From every thing I have read this fight won't happen because Froch thinks picking up a vacated strap makes him a champion and he gets to call the shots. He has just found out that Taylor cares less about the strap than he does about his pocket. I don't believe for an instant Froch accepted Taylor's terms and Taylor renegged.

I really don't know how Froch could keep winning against any credible opponents. I think he should give Miranda a chance. Probably a name that could land him on US TV if that is what he is looking for. Well, that and a big payday. Not even sure he would win that though. Miranda would be much better at 'talking the talk' than Froch ever DREAMED of being. It would be fun.
