Completely agreed. Boo's explanation from a marketing point of view makes perfectly sense, but from a boxing fan's perspective the fight vs. AA has to come asap and not after AA has made himself a name in the US, because otherwise it seems like Pavlik or his management is trying to avoid "the king".

Ah. Someone that knows less about boxing than me. Thanks for jumping in and saving my ass. Even TFFP downgraded his assessment of Froch after his last performance and upgraded Taylor. Very painful for him I'm sure. He is, however, always trying to be objective.

Taylor has a Showtime date and, I would have to assume, a guaranteed paycheck for March 28. Froch was unwilling/unable to accept the date and terms. Simple as that. Froch wants the money fighting Taylor would bring in the worst way. The WBC wants Taylor as their champ for the same reason. Why else were they trying to force Taylor into their title before he even fought at 168?

The WBC has moved the deadline for the purse bid twice now? Why? Figure it out. If you still think it is because Taylor is afraid of Froch, bless you for making me look better.
