I really don't think Arum has much in the name of loyalty. He strikes me as a bottom dollar sort of guy and the guys who make money will get the specialty treatment and the ones who don't will have to wait. Pac Man is making him the big bucks (as is Cotto) and that's who he's favoring right now.

He's consistently trying to get cash in fights for Pavlik (Sergio Mora, contender fighter with some cred in boxing after beating Vernon rings a bell). I think once he makes enough money off of Pavlik, he'll do something.

But to Bob Arum, it's not about Europe. It's the United States. If Abraham isn't known in the United States then it will not be worth it for the Bobfather.

Okay -- for this one post I'll quit pissing people off and winding them up. I do think Pavlik/Abraham could be made for this fall, but the purse size is probably in the way. Pav got $2.5 million for the pocket rocket. Should he fight Arthur "I'll Knock Your Face Off" Abraham for less? And what about Arthur's share? He'd be a fool to take the fight for less than $1.5 million plus a cut of the TV money.

After you pay for KP and AA, you have to pay the guys on the undercard, the ref, the judges, pre-fight promotion, et, et. This is a very expensive show to put on, and neither guy can turn big PPV numbers. That, in my opinion, is the real problem.

The thing is we have two promotions that could logistically split the costs...and not to mention it's not Arum pays his undercard guys a fortune either. Sauerland if they really want this to happen can fork over the dough to help promotion and what not as well. Two companies, let them split the bill. I think that's fair, Sauerland can handle promotion in Germany and the rest of Europe where as Arum can do his dirty work in the United States. HBO would probably pitch in as well and lap up this fight.

I mean as I've said before I could easily see something like this:

    Middleweight Unification Clash
Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik vs "King" Arthur Abraham
-Obviously this is where most of your money is going to go and its your main event. If the combined purse is 8 mil or so, I see no reason Pavlik can't get 4.5 and Abraham 3.5 or something like that. Just guesstimating of course but 50/50 to 60/40 (Kickyoass) seems fair.

    Co-Main Event
"Mustache" Marcio "Waluigi" Antonio Rubio vs Sebastian Sylvester
Top Rank middleweight takes on Sauerland event MW in a fight that would probably set up the next title shot for the winner. Sylvester is a good fighter, Freddy Mercury is a good fighter and both would make for an interesting fight. Probably not the most expensive fight to add on either.

Mattvey Korobov in an 8 rd fight against a token opponent

Marco "Captain" Houck in a 8 rd fight against a token opponent

There's a relatively cheap PPV card
