Now this is someone I feel that would give GGG some issues. Give Kelly the chance to put Gennady in a position to fight off of his back foot and the combos will follow. Great flux capacitor boxing time machine matchup.

This would've been one heck of an encounter. Could see both guys absolutely ruining each other if it went past six rounds.

I truly believe The Ghost could've been a formidable opponent for Triple G, had they met inside the ring. This subject has been raised before on here, but it's still a fun fantasy match-up worth pondering.

Pavlik had really good power and a hell of a chin, this would be a great match up. Pavlik only had trouble with pure boxers like Sergio Martinez.

GGG would have major deficits in this bout.
2007 Pavlik vs current GGG would've been one for the ages

    The idea alone worth salivating.
Pavlik right after the Taylor fight versus current GGG.
I think I like this fight more then the proposed Canelo showdown.
Pavlik has power and chin to equal ggg, plus he is taller with longer reach.
GGG can be hit, he is not as slick as Hopkins or Martinez. He would have to respect Pavlik power, I supposed. So he would have to approach this similar to the Leumiux fight, but unlike Leumiux, Pavlik has a good jab.
Pavlik had trouble early with Taylor's speed but adjusted well. GGG pressures methodically, it might work in Pavlik favour. Up close Pavlik can rip hooks and uppercuts.
Don't know who win, it will be a donnybrook.

Pavlik is one of those guys on ESB where, everyone says he's a bum, except when he appears on the resumes of Sergio Martinez and Bernard Hopkins. Then he's an ATG.

I never thought he was a bum, but I think GGG beats him. I think Pavlik's skill set was a little more crude than GGG's. He may have physical attributes like power and chin to match up, but I just think he lacks a bit in the "tricks of the trade" area.

Also Jermain Taylor wouldn't have dropped GGG.

I think Pavlik gets his head caved in. He's way to binary and doesn't have a good defence.

Pavlik,Artur Abraham in his prime,or Pirog could all have been tough fights for GGG but Triple G would not have been the underdog against any of these three aforementioned names.
I for my part wouldnt have put a single coin neither on Pavlik, nor on AA or on Pirog.
