No problem. To be honest I love X & part of me wants to see him fight again but another part wants to see him retire now. He has nothing left to prove at 43.

 

Hopkins will beat his ass, make no mistake. He'll look so sloppy in this fight, if Hopkins makes Joe look bad, he has a field day with Pavlik's leaky defence, lack of speed and square on style.

 

Oh no doubt but I knew he would return because he would refuse to go out with an L ..Im sure the same will be said for Joe if he loses to Roy ..

 

Well if he does fight Pavlik you have to admire the man, he certainly likes a challenge.

 

I have always respected Bhops this type of move doesn't surprise me ..But I wonder if he is picking the Ghost because he's white and all that bs about Ill never lose to a white boy Either way I love this fight ! Its lagood look for Kelly win or lose !

 

Come on, Jimmie. You know there's more to a fight than that. Hopkins has been fighting at too high a level for these judges to even keep up with. The judges may as well be savages trying to understand email because they'd have more success in understanding it than they have with hopkins' fights. He won the Taylor fights as well as the Calzaghe fight. He is never given the credit for the work he puts into a fight. There is no justice in boxing.

A Pavlik-Hopkins fight would be super****enamazing. I don't see why Pavlik can't come up to super-middle or even on the light side of light-heavy to fight Hopkins. B-Hop won't be able to go down in weight. It's better for Pavlik to make the move up.

I know that all man thats why im wanting to see this fight badly. However I just said Hopkins is hard to watch the majority of the time especially when he clinches.

 

PLEASE Lord, please let Calzaghe kick that undefeated a** first!

I mean I like Pavlik and I have to admit, it's a very bad fight for him. I don't see Hopkins fighting below 168, and vs. Calzaghe at 175, he looked huge and very strong (vs. Tarver as well). It's a very bad fight in style for Kelly, if I were him, I'd skip this one for the sake of an Abraham or Calzaghe $$$ superfight... I'd definitely pick Hopkins in this one, even putting a good amount of money on the old fox...

But hey, it is a big fight and I'd definitely love to see it... just... Pavlik vs. Abraham/Calzaghe wouldn't be a fight between two undefeated fighters anymore...

 

This is an interesting matchup and a great win for either fighter. If a 43 year old Hopkins outboxes a young powerpuncher like Pavlik, that is impressive. A W for Pavlik over an ATG like Hopkins is great for his resume. A TKO would be even more impressive- especially since Hopkins has never been stopped.

 

Lets just hope that the Hopkins that fought Tarver shows up and not the one who fought Wright and Calzaghe
