Pavlik Vs Kessler A Catch Weight?

Kessler by KO.

He is superior in every department apart from workrate and power. Pavlik would get picked apart by the superior boxer.

 

why not just at 168.

it will make little difference to pavlik, and kessler is a big 168 fighter.

IMO the upcoming taylor fight will tell us everything we need on pavlik and will cross every T.

my reasoning , is although i got the first fight right and it panned out hoiw i thought i beleive taylor will try to take this a pure boxing spectacle , and keep it long and technical.

while i beleive kessler is a better technical boxer than taylor , if the fight pans out as a technical fight that i expect, we will see if pavlik can match skills which he would have to do well against taylor to show us he can match skills with kessler.

just r eread this back to myself and it seems watching primevil at the same time makes me write the word technical a 100 times.

I wish Kessler the best...I've never before witnessed, an incredible mental breakdown of a fighter...until I watched Calzaghe-Kessler.....come to think of it he sort of looked like Lacy did when he was being pummeled.....Kessler is coupling all this with long inactivty..which is never good for a fighter trying to redeem his confidence....I like Kessler and wish him the best however I just see things going against my wishes.....So lets ask ourselves what caused this mental breakdown??? Well Joe did but more importantly his volume caused him to fight on his heels....other than a few sharp uppercuts early Kessler did **** all.....This is how Joe C and Pavlik are similar their tremendous volume only Pavlik has the power to give Kessler a nap...also Kesslers chin still hasnt been tested...rest assured Pavlik would test it and a nap would surely follow.....

 

I was undecided. But since you posted this repulsive put-down of a great fighter, I'm about to vote for Kessler via KO.

At 164 I'd like Pavlik. Kessler would be drained and Pavlik would beat him at 164.

 

all of these kessler, calzaghe comparisons will end when a 43 year old man embarrases calzaghe. Everyone thinks that kessler and calzaghe are so great but in due time they will not be mentioned anymore.

Kessler wide UD, a late TKO wouldnt surprise me though.

I dont think Pavlik can handle a pure boxer, i am picking Taylor to edge him in the rematch. Kessler is is naturally bigger with a decent punch at 68, after watching KP get stung by Taylors punches, I think he has serious problems with Mikels power.
