His career KO pct is like 92%. Guys simply cannot last 12 rounds with this guy. What did he do to two of the biggest MWs around? He destroyed them.

How many boxers today have his combination of boxing skills, POWER, work rate, and good chin? Seriously, how many?

 

None. There are no other boxers like Pavlik. Pavlik is clearly the greatest ever. I honestly believe he will feed the whole 15k crowd with just two hotdogs and three beers when he fights Taylor. He is the second coming...

 

I certainly wouldn't say that Pavlik is **** compared to Kessler, but I think that Kessler would take the win via. UD.

The outcome doesn't change at any weight. I wish these conversations would go away, but unfortunately when Pavlik squashes Taylor and rubs him off the sole of his shoe next week, the hyping is going to reach a nauseating fever pitch and people will start insisting that Kessler is a sitting duck for him (and ducking him).

Pavlik is the tougher guy IMO, with slightly more power and better jab IMO. Kessler is more skilled, better overall boxing ability from hand speed to footwork. I could see either man winning this match to be honest, but gut is telling me Pavlik by late round TKO.

 

Not hardly mate.....This is more of a fantasy match up for now..as it's been stated quite definitively that Pavlik is a MW and will defend a handful of times before moving up...As for Kessler he needs to prove to everyone he did'nt contract "Lacy's Disease"....If your a Joe fan you've seen the look on Lacy's face during the fight with Joe and if we remember correctly Kessler also had that "look"
So no Kessler wouldnt be ducking anyone...whether we want to or not we need to see how well he rebounds from this loss...If he does well thats GREAT if not my theory would've been proved correct and like Lacy we need to judge his career before and after Joe Calzaghe:deal
