Pavlik vs Lacy (now) who wins?

No one is acting like he is a great technician, but Lacy isn't either. He isn't a counter puncher, doesn't have great footwork, and is shot to ****.

When did I ever say anything about being about Pavlik being a great technician? Lacy is shot to peices. He's awful at this point. He was never good but had an equalizer in his power, but since he had shoulder surgery he doesn't even have that. He's a short super middleweight who's shot to **** with no defense who barely, I mean barely squeezed by Epifanio Mendoza and made THIS Roy Jones look like boxing god. Pavlik would have a huge height advantage and length advantage and Lacy would stay in front of him like Pavlik's vanquished foes. If you really believe in your heart of hearts that Lacy would win this now...you're an idiot.

 

Pavlik lost, but he ain't dead. Kelly KO early.

 

Pavlic FINALLY fights someone who is not a bum and we find out he cuts like a pasty little girl. Quit making excuses he could manage the weight class if he wasn't all hype.

 

He beat Taylor twice before JT beat the crap out of Lacy. I mean if that is not proof positive that you're thinking is wrong I don't know what is.

The version of Pavlik who clawed his way up through the ranks and ultimatley stopped Taylor in 7 rounds would demolish any version of Lacy that ever existed.

Lacy would stand a very good chance of beating the version of Pavlik that showed up last Saturday night. The kid either cannot or will not pull the trigger anymore, that is often the first sign of a shot fighter.

Pavlik never used to get cut or marked up badly. He's been cut up and marked up in 3 of his last 4 fights.

For 5 straight rounds against Martinez, Pavlik landed around 40% of his punches, and never hurt Martinez. If he can no longer hurt a junior middleweight, his chances of hurting a legit super-middle probably aren't good.

 

they both suck, Lacy sucks more BUT he is alot bigger and stronger so it could go either way.
