Train Wreck. Prime for prime Pavlik would be a favorite but does Lemieux have more than just an outside punchers chance?
Pavlik seemed about as sturdy as you could get at the weight, with great recovery to boot when hurt. Pavlik was in there with plenty of hard hitting fighters and no one ever badly shook him up except for the fast hands of Jermaine Taylor.
Lemieux is or at least was in his prime before saturdays fight. Seriously what is Lemieuxs best win N'dam. and he got out boxed for most of the fight but was able to to put him down because N'dam was on the ropes trying to use movement that way, not a great idea vs lemieux since he can punch where he thinks your going at times and he did. Lemieux does have a shot bececause he'll have chances to do work vs Pavlik but he more than likely is knocked out himself.
Pavlik via horrible one sided beat down. I think AA at middleweight beats Lemieux too. So does Martinez, I'd even favour Cotto.
It would likely be very similar to the Lockett fight, with Pavlik busting him up and putting him down several times before a 3rd or 4th round stoppage. It wouldn't even be competitive. A prime Pavlik would be a scary prospect for any middleweight active now and would be GGG's sternest test by far.
LOL. This question can't be serious. Pavlik would have destroyed Lemieux inside of 5. Completely different levels.
