That's what Boxing Rec has on it. Does anyone know if this is true I thought Andy Lee was going to fight Rubio on the Pavlik vs Lockett undercard. Maybe we will have all three fights in one night:happy

Arum is still negotiating with Sauerland about featuring Abraham on the televised undercard - that's what both Arum and SE telling me...

The MSG company offered Arum a pretty good side fee so the event is back n in NY...

I really this happens to set up Pavlik vs Abraham at end of the year. Any word who Abraham might fight at Garden? Maybe Giovanni Lorenzo he is a New York City based fighter and there was talk of him fighting Abraham.:bbb

Abraham vs. Lorenzo is still a possibility?

Of course don't expect Winky Wright stepping in against Arthur... But that would be a nice double-header!

The IBF still hasn't decided who will be the mandatory for Abraham...so Lorenzo might still be a possibility. Though Zuniga could still make the mandatory spot...

Good. They are putting Pavlik and Abraham on the same card.

This only proves that the next target of Pavlik is Abraham, the usual style of building up a potential block buster fight.

Abraham needs someone better than Ayala to face when he goes to the garden. The point of all of this is to drum up the fight with Pavlik. Give him Sylvester, Ornelas, or maybe Randy Griffin at worst. A fight with someone less than that won't make much of a statement.

Lorenzo would make for a good fight with Arthur.

I know there was talk of Lorenzo fighting Zuniga for a shot at Abraham but with Lorenzo being number one for a shot at Pavlik maybe Lorenzo will sit this one out and wait for Kelly. I want to see Zuniga vs Abraham at Garden on the 7th. What I would like would be for Giovanno Lorenzo to fight John Duddy in a box off for a shot at the winner of Pavlik vs Abraham. There was also talk that HBO wanted Pavlik to fight Lockett because that helps set up a story line with Joe Calzaghe who dad trains Lockett. I just wonder what Arum, HBO and Pavlik are going to do Will Pavlik stay at middle for a while and fight Lockett, Lorenzo, Abraham, Winky and Duddy for good money or take a big jump for really big money and fight Joe Calzaghe.:huh

Yeah talk shithead . . . the Pac/JMM rematch has been the talk of the boxing public for at least 3 years now before it's finally happening on March 15.

What I'm saying here is the practice of promoters to put two fighters in one card to pre-HYPE a possible match up next. It's a good indication that it's really gonna happen.

You don't understand my point? . . . Then you might as well shut up boii and stop being a smart as with me.

The talk of Pavlik ducking Winky is silly.
For one Winky lost his last fight and did not look good in it so there is really no hype for a Pavlik vs Winky fight at this point or big money in it. Let Winky get a win over a top middle like Rubio and look good in the fight to make Winky vs Pavlik a big fight:bbb

in honesty i dont know how winky could cope fighting against someone with a high output like pavlik, yes he is very masterful, but in his last fight he just seemed rather tentative (could just be down to the fact he was fat).
in the grand scope, there isnt actually too many options out there for pavlik ... i know john duddy's limitations but at least he's a big draw, lockett, what the **** does he offer?another way for warren to show that he brings fighters the best fights?pffff
