I maybe behind the times but I checked the main page (half way down) and it says the fight is agreed and is to be held at the boardwark in Atlantic City.

Does anyone else think there is a chance of Lockett could get seriously hurt?

His solid chin and heart could be his undoing, I'd prefer him to be taken out early rather than fighting a long drawn out beatdown.

The lad is domestic level and I am shocked Warren is going for this, I cant think of one single advantage Lockett has over Pavlik

a part of me hopes the wbo and warren get bitten where it hurts and lockett gets beaten easily.

but a part of me also hopes lockett hits him on the chin and stuns the world. :happy

Lockett may have a very good beard but then again(imo) so does Jermain Taylor and Lockett's going to get hit a lot cleaner and more often then Taylor .

I think Pavlik will deal with him in 2/3 rounds

Lockett also has sledge hammers for fists and can actually box a bit. I dont think Pavlik is hard to hit and Locket can certainly bang so it could be a case of who lands the 1st big shot. Pav is the favourite but Lockett certainly has the power to cause the upset.

I give Lockett a shot, think about it you think Pavlik is gonna be up for this as much as his last 3 fights! No Chance. His training will be no where near as intense and they will seriously underestimate Lockett.

I reckon Pavlik UD12, with Lockett making him look ordinary.

TBH Taylor made everyone look like **** so..........

    Pavlik is not Mayweather.

Lockett is good and durable but Pavlik is on the next level and will make it a very hard night.

I can see Lockett trying to put on a good display and doing Pavlik some damage but I expect Pavlik to win by KO mid round.

You guys overestimate Pavlik and underestimate Lockett.

Could be a surprise on the cards.

i only ever saw locket fight rhodes, whilst he did not win, i thought rhodes came out with more credit. also he dropped lockett heavily. pavlik hits a lot harder than rhodes for me. i see a stoppage, mid rounds, but lockett to improve his stock in the process.

Pavlik has ok fundamentals like every good pro but he's stiff and has power, otherwise don't know what else to say except he's not hard to hit.

Lockett may lose but won't be outclassed.

    Lockett's way better than Duddy.

Lockett has little to lose and alot to gain, and as someone said maybe Pavlik will take Lockett lightly, and that could be all he needs. Strange how Taylor knocked Pavlik down and Miranda couldn't and Pavlik took some good shots in that bout, so even though Lockett is a huge underdog, he certainly has a chance.

I haven't seen Lockett fight for years, does anyone think Enzo Calzaghe can add anything to his game? If he's the same fighter as I remember I think Pavlik might make short work of him.
