I think Martinez is going to box him silly. The hand speed and the odd angles are to much for a severly limited fighter like Kelly Pavlik. I wont count Pavlik out but he needs a KO IMO or of a course a BS decision and Martinez seems to have a sturdy chin.

Figured Mr. Hu & the other haters would show up like flies on crap.

If Martinez works as hard as he did against PW, he'll run outta gas even sooner, cause Kelly is bigger & stronger than Paul & that with take more out of Sergio. Kelly will knock him late out in the later rounds with a right hand. Kellys best punch & a southpaws worst nightmare.

And you guys are right. Martinez may be ahead on the cards when it happens, but he will get taken out...

    :good

Martinez will get stopped. You can pull that(both hands by your dick **** agains someone like PW, but not Pavlik). Martinez will do well early till he gets clocked, and broken down.

If Pavlik power doesnt get to martinez than Sergio is going to rack enough points.

    Martinez UD.

I think people are forgetting how good Pavlik is just because he lost to a much larger Bernard Hopkins.

Pavlik via early KO w/relative ease!

this is a very bad style matchup for Kelly, sergio likes to keep a good distance between him and his opponent and closes the gap quick with a flurry. This is EXACTLY what hopkins did to kelly, just far enough that kelly has to take a step forward to attack. The style that hopkins used to beat Pavlik basically IS Sergio's style.

iam a fan of both but pavlik has his hands full and this is gonna be a harder fight for kelly then stationary williams would ever be.

This fight's a pretty tough call. Martinez is going to give Pavlik a hell of a time, but Pavlik's got better defense than PW and hits a hell of a lot harder. Of course, he hasn't really been very active, so I'm not sure how that's going to effect him against a very fast and highly skilled southpaw like Martinez.

I think the whole fight is going to be based on whether or not Martinez can handle Pavlik's power. I didn't like how he sat on the outside and kind of just let PW get him on the end of his shots all night. He let PW hit him too much. If he does the same thing with Pavlik he will get worn down and he will get knocked out.

Not going to make a prediction just yet. Having too much trouble picking right now. Can't wait for this fight though.

I liked Martinez when I saw him fight Bunema. He beat the hell out of Cintron and could have had the nod against PW when I thought PW would have had a bit of an easier time. This will be a good fight!:bbb

There are a lot of finer points that I think you're ignoring, but the most important one is strength. Matinez has little or nothing to stop Pavlik throwing back over him or manhandling him when he gets close.
