Pavlik vs Martinez might happen next in 2010.

I like this fight. I think Martinez beats Pavlik with his movement. Not to mention Martinez is a slick southpaw. Martinez by decision is my prediction(if the fight happens).

 

Williams has better stamina than Pavlik though, so I think it was just the gruelling fight rather than any stamina issues. If it gets to the 12th and it's a similar fight, Pavlik, like Williams will also be tired. If it's a slower paced fight, Martinez will get there easily.

 

Sorry pal, but you cannot point to a single shread of evidence that backs up your claim.

Pavliks power may cause SM some problems but the speed and skill of Martinez will eventually weaken KP's power and it should become a more manageable fight for Martinez!

I don't think the demand is there for the Williams fight and Arum doesn't want to have to pay Pdub what was offered before. The fight is no longer worth as much. If Kelly beats Martinez decidedly what market would there be for the fight? Arum could take a bath under the old contract.
